The voice, through Autotune, oscillates at different frequencies and it no longer sounds like a true human voice but like some sort of synthetic representation. If set to too fast a speed, vibrato is either exaggerated or squashed, the latter of which also sounds like a shift in oscillation while staying on the same note. If the singer doesn't get close to the desired note, the program sets it to the wrong note, so it sounds like the singer hit some odd note to begin with, which isn't natural.

I highly doubt he's using autotune, as this is technically live, regardless of their being no audience, and he's not recording. Autotune live would sound even worse than it does on recordings, which is why you can always tell when a singer uses autotune because they sound like shit live.
