How do you like the feel of the Splawn? I hear the mids can be hard and not too natural but this tone is killing me. I have a 20th Anniversary EL34 Bogner SHiva and am trying not to have too much overlap but am seriously considering a streetrod or quickrod.
@richedie I love it - you have to wrestle with the guitar and its pretty unforgiving. Mids sound great and i'd put it head to head with any other amp out there trying to do the modded Marshall thing. Try one out if you can!

Yes, its just the stock Quickrod. I re-biased my output tubes as they've been changed about 3 times (lots of playing!) but to Splawn's recommendation.
I knew it! Your amp sounds almost exactly like another guy's on here, his screen name is shreder75....(same name on the Splawn forum too) his Quickrod has the below-mentioned tubage.
