1/8th mile is for real drivers. you have no time to make a mistake and compensate for it later in the run. You car has to be damn near perfect to run it constantly. It is harder on the engine but it is what rules the South. If you like to run 1/4 go North

Because these cars are Outlaw cars..they dont fit into the ProStock rules & despite having a bunch of Nitrous on these Big Motors they still could not run 6.50's on the 1/4mile like NHRA ProStocks due with ONLY 500cubic inches......I've seen some of these cars a couple years ago run @ VMP 6.70's with NO Weight in the cars , BIG MOTOR & Nitrous.
