  • my 93 600 has 27,000 with vances and hines pipe and air screen takin out it ripps its faster then my buddys 07 svx 1000 good bike faster and nicer ridin then my 96 zx600

  • the 1993 ZX6 E1 was faster than any ninja 600 till almost 1999. i guess they did something to the E1's that they didnt do to the e2 or e3 that year.. . I know someone who only collects the 1993 E1. I guess they have a 7-8 hp advantage

  • @netrioter BUT...the gearboxes are horrible that year...any of you guys lose second gear?

  • @netrioter my second gear was on its way out pretty much the whole time i owned the bike.. it was really bad when i sold it, sad :(

  • @verticalization i been seeing them go for 5-6 grand with 50,000 miles and second gear gone and 9 grand with low miles and the gearbox fix. These are getting very collectible. If you know where one is for cheap, jump on it.

  • I use to own one of these. I got it up to 155

  • Whats the top speed for these bikes?

  • according to other owners, about 150-155 indicated

  • Thats really damn good.A bike like this could keep up with the new 600's and even liter bikes Im sure.

  • @ruggedrider7 Ive seen mine top 160 on the speedo just at redline in 5th gear... ran out of room for 6th though i dont know if it would be able to overcome the wind resistance at those speeds in 6th gear.

  • @starshooter10 Ive seen a E1 go almost 175 with a Vance and Hines pipe ,fresh sync on the carbs and Rock Oil in it. The later production models in 1993 (E2,E3) have 8 less horsepower. Kawasaki changes the production number on the E engine in accordance to production date. E1 = jan-april, E2 =may-aug E3=sept-dec.

E1 will hit somewhere around 160-165 stock and in tune...all models made after April 1993 until the late 90's will go 155-160. 93 was the first year of the E engine.

  • nice

  • i had an MMA fight in superior april 12 and that's the hotel i stayed at

  • what would be acceptable milage if I buy this bike?

  • i'd say anywhere between 15-up to 30k.. depending on how it was taken care of/ridden..

  • @kosmosleha mine had over 60000, solid bikes if taken car of

  • Does your bike sound bogged at 12000- 14000 rpm's? I have a 95 zx6e california and it boggs at 12000-14000 rpm when I full throttle it and have to go only about half throttle at those rpm's

  • not really, it bogs between 7-8 pretty bad.. than the power comes on

  • @EagleWoLF777 I have an 93 ZX6E and it only works good after 9 grand if she's not working good at those rpms you should start checking your jets

  • @EagleWoLF777 I have an 93 ZX6E and it only works good after 9 grand if she's not working good at those rpms you should start checking your jets

  • @ryanmitton95 I have an 93 ZX6E and it only works good after 9 grand if she's not working good at those rpms you should start checking your jets

  • @EagleWoLF777 check the cut out switch on the kick stand

  • ya, should be between 1000-1400rpm no?

  • Nice .. but a little high on the idle it seems .. you know how to adjust it right.?

  • The carbs need to be synced & cleaned, and it was pretty much just started, it doesnt like to run after being started until it warms up

  • Cool ... just a hint .. if you have aftermarket exhaust and k&n filter .. a dyno jet kit would be a good ideal to put in while you have it apart .. keep me updated .. later .. Be safe

  • Thanks for that, yeah the bike has stock exhaust, with a k&n filter and a jet kit installed by the previous owner, exhaust will probly come next season when i clean everything out
