Do you mean, how long have I played guitar for? I've played for about seven or eight years. I taught myself, and mainly just played around. I did get one book of Black Sabbath tab, and I learnt a couple of things from that. I mainly play by ear if it's something I want to learn. However I spend most of my time writing original music. Let me know if you have any specific questions, i'll try to answer them

They vary a lot in price, and I don't know what to say in terms of a 'good' guitar. I haven't used a wide variety of guitars really. I think that the type of amp you get is more important. Go to a music shop and ask to try out amps and guitars, and you'll see what they're like, and talk to them about how much money you have to spend, so they can understand. Usually if you're going to buy an amp and a guitar at the same time, they'll give you some kind of discount.

I'd also recommend buying 2nd hand, if you're worried about price but want something decent. That way you can get a higher quality guitar for less money, but of course you should try it out first to make sure it's not broken! They normally will only sell 2nd guitars if they function fine anyway.

I think my Ryu theme is the best out of the street fighter ones I've done. I screwed up a bit on both Zangief and Balrog, and I don't know if I even got the notes right on some of Guile :s

nope, on the original sfII (jap edition) M.Bison was called Vega and Balrog was called M. Bison and Vega was called Balrog. They changed the names as the name M.Bison (Mike Bison) was a take off of Mike Tyson, but to avoid a legal issue they swapped the name so M.Bison wasn't the boxer.
