I´m not pretty sure if this is a tune of a song.. I have the other receptor video parts, and is fully improvisation.. anyway if you hear more of JR songs.. you can see it is his actual style, so he doesn´t have any problems making that great type of improvisation.. if it´s a song I would really like to know too..

No, i asked cuz in all of his videos he always plays tunes from his songs may it be dream theater tunes or his solo album tunes!

All his videos which have demo's are songs that he has played! So i was wondering which one this is! Its quite possible its an impro but the chances of it being a tune are also high keeping in mind his habbit of playing parts of his diff songs!

that´s what I think.... because some times you just get limited to what the software can do for you with the vst.... but I guess receptor helps you using other options.... mmm maybe I should upload the other parts of the video

em, what's the difference with or without using the Receptor since our PC/Laptop can store or host VST? is it because of crash issue? then can Receptor get rid the use of a PC/Laptop on stage? thanks.

@Berrymore84 It looks like some kind of dedicated PC (or maybe MAC), and since it runs standard VST's I think it runs a customized Windows or MAC OS version. But I could be wrong! ;-)

i find it odd.... and i could be mistaken....but i dont think Jordan uses much softsynths on stage... i personally still think hardware romplers are programed better for instant play... i have some great softsynth including omnisphere... but you have to WORK hard to get what you want.. want.....people just keep using hardware on stage.....

Jordan samples softsynths for live use and doesn't use the actual softsynths live... That is one main reason for him to change his main board, to get bigger samplememory.

the video is actually sped up.. there's an error in processing... much of its movement are awkward and the finger movement is not elastic... is the fault of the processer, or maybe of youtube itself.. not of my beloved JR, which eats this music as warm up exercises XD
