In preparation for her Bolena debut, lovely Anna Netrebko stated she listened to the recordings of Callas, Gencer, and Sills. No matter which artist interprets this role, I find myself going back to Callas. Callas and Simionato. The greatness of these two supreme artists in this opera cannot and will never be surpassed. Not in my lifetime. Bravissime!!!
