I'm just trying to help, but the DPS rotation you are using is not the highest. You should be doing AblastX3+AM (or ABarr if no proc), 2x Ablast is ok, but not as high DPS as X3. Also, after casting AM, don't do an Abarr right after, because it doesn't benefit from the Ablast, and won't increase your DPS at all (more of a decrease). My mage has similar gear as yours (some better, some worse), and I can do 4.5k=5k DPS in raids. I hope this helps!

The Guild im in on PTR, found a small strategy.

You need a paladin, and two tanks, and two heals.

Make sure the paladin has fire resist aura on.

Keep both tank infront of him, and when he does burning breath, have one healer heal the MT, and the other healer aoe heal the group, as his aoe will kill them.

We he puts down the flames, have the tank move him around and avoid the middle as it is shiny and hard to see.
