3: Beat the weakened Superman up.

Batman is intellectually superior to Luthor, is a better strategist, and is very stealthy with great knowledge of tech. So yeah, Luthor won't do well against him.

Anyway, the guys who made the show said that they visually based him on Telly Savalas, who's Greek. Greeks are white people with relatively dark skin, so there you go.

this is easily the best of the 3 designs for the animated Joker.

The original wasn't scary enough, the New animated series version wasn't enough like a clown, then this one hit that perfect balance.

I couldn't agree more. He also looks perfect in the flashback-art of "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker". The new version there looks a little goofy, I think it's the hair and the fact that he's in a jumpsuit and not his puple costume, but in the flashback-part they couldn't have drawn him better.

I agree, the first one was kinda cool, the "revamped" one (Gotham Knights/New Adventures) looked just bad (no lipstick and the color scheme of the eyes being reversed just looked silly) and this one looked really evil.

Original was too much clown without looking scary at all. He was too campy looking. NAS didnt look like a clown at all, and he had crazy demon eyes.

This one however, looks like an evil clown. I love it.

@Degalon Actually, I liked the fact that the oldest Joker design could twist his face to be either scary or goofy. With this one, he always has that dead look, and anytime he tries to have a whimsical look...it's like a skull, it looks like it's smiling, but it's still a skull.

Well that's the idea. He's supposed to ALWAYS be scary. The old joker could never really hit "scary", no matter what, he always seemed stuck on "goofy".

And the Joker from the old series definitely had his moments, like when he first looked at Charlie, or when he told Salvestro that he always likes to see "a nice big smile", then the scene with the councilman later.
