  • Classic! Reminds me of them good old days when music was good.

  • With that said, everytime they think of playing any of this bull today, they should replace it with a Outkast joint! I know none of us would be mad, just turn it up, think of what we where doing when the jam dropped and be mouthing the lyrics right along! Peace to all those that know and all those who just found out, your lesson begins when I said "everytime".......

  • OutKast never sold out, they began in the present, went to the future, back to the past and always changed the way we all view and listen to Hip Hop! Sell out concerts yeah, sell out in their music, never! Not a diss, just a fact! Peace!

  • 18 yrs later and i still bang it!

  • thumbs u if you still bumpin southernplayalisticadillacmuzik in 2012!

  • the ... is adidas

  • coldest duo to ever hit the rap scene.

  • doesn't get any doper

  • muy buena rola topus..!

  • Outkast=the too short of the south. Insted of that east oakland pimp shit its that southernplaya pimp shit haha

  • i love the 90's

  • Thanks Outkast for never selling out.

  • @Wisconsin222 They had their short "sell out" period in 2003 (Hey Ya, The Way You Move) but came back to their regular sound in 2006.

  • @xyzman123 Not really because I mean Hey Ya was badass no matter what.

  • @xyzman123 what you talkin bout they aint never sold out boy "outkast" they are which means they are always going up left when its said they should go right. they wanted to tell a diff story than the norm just like in every album

  • @LEWNARTIC But First of all I am a dude so I take offense to being called a mam.

  • One of the greatest songs of all time. Big Boi dropped one of the best verses I've ever heard.

  • pure gangsta

  • I thank my older cousins for putting me on this back in the day at such a young age...reminds me of what Atlanta USED to be...

  • I think "Like collard greens and whole eggs I got soul," should be "Like collard greens and hoe cakes"

  • @PhattyMo You are absolutely right.

  • Man I'm from the Chi when this came out I had a Bonneville sse with the roof. Dam this bring memories

  • DYNAMIC DUO

  • DAMN about time some real music... i remember when this came out i was 10. fuck that new school shit.

  • Funky shit

  • Ah, the good old days.

  • It's "swollen got my pockets business boomin' like rockets, folks tried to stop me but they know that it's that" and "My groove be thick as two fat hoes sitting off in a Brougham," not whatever is in the description. Look up Cadillac Brougham.

  • I remember blunt cruising to this whole album on 285

  • @RAPERECTION ..THOSE YOUNG BRO'S MUST NOT HAVE THIS CD OR ALBUM DOWNLOAD ..BECAUSE IF THEY LISTEN TO THE WHOLE CD...I MEAN CAN U DO THAT NOW IT SEEMS THAT ONE SONG AND DONE NOW..BUT ANYWAY U SHOULD DIRECT THEIR ATTENTION TO TRACK 2 ...THAT WILL CHANGE THEIR LIFE. PEACE.

  • Real rap.

  • "Time to drop these bows, like Dusty Rhodes"

  • Funky

  • Classic Southern Hip Hop #enoughsaid

  • This is truly classic southern music. I never listened to anything like this until K.R.I.T.

  • these guys are the Lennon/McCartney of hip-hop

  • @MrAction21 YES. The flip and flop. Peas and carrots. Dollars and cents. Baseball and glove. Splish and splash. Tic and toc. On and off. LOL, got it?

  • I'f u ain't from GA, u can't feel this song 2 tha fullest!! #tongue stickin out, lol

  • @Beezayfromga nawww u mean if u not from the SOUTH lol because Im from alabama an this was the SHIT back in the day

  • eeeeeeey you on the computer, check out my version of this playa shit, let me know what you think, show love or let me know if i suck... im positive your gonna like it, i did right by this classic southern shit... thanks, KEEP IT GRAVITY!! peace...

  • @RAthaPunisher BTNH > Wu. sry.

  • This muzik has been way dope for a long time....YALL DONT KNOW

  • I realized something. The reason why a lot of teens tell you how old they are is because they are trying to show that they aren't the ones listening to the mainstream crap that they supposedly classify as "rap".

  • outkast makes lil wayne look like the bitch he is. there aint no real rap muzik any more. its all singing through a synthisizer. fuck young money.

  • I'm 14 From Philly . and i Blast this Shit Every Day When i go to School !

  • OUTKAST best group evr

  • Can some one who grew up in the South during the 90's answer me this was Outkast more important, as important, or less important then rappers like Pac,Big,Nas,Snoop,Jay,Pun,L to y'all during this era of the 90's

  • @RAthaPunisher as important as Pac and Nas, and more so than the others i think... those three defined the three greatest styles of rap ie. east/west/south

  • @Laurie12SlimShady yeah they really are some of the greatest ever

  • @Laurie12SlimShady

How did Pac define west coast-style? Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre & Ice Cube defined the west coast, Biggie, Nas & Wu-Tang defined the east, OutKast & UGK defined the south.

  • @tibiasuckness well each to their own, for me if someone mentions West i just thing of Pac... but yeah cool, i don't really mind if you don't think so.

  • @RAthaPunisher I wouldn't put them in the category of the rappers you mentioned. They did their own thing, maintaining the essence of "Outkast" while switching up at the same time, and still had a following, which to me gives them (Outkast) a slight edge on the rest.

  • @peachesterrain yeah I get ya OutKast truly made a sub-genre of Hip-Hop that is their own with albums like ATLiens and Aquemini

  • @RAthaPunisher exactly..they didn't conform..they had their own sound (like Wu Tang) they were more mainstream but maintained autonomy..true artistry in my book :-)

  • @peachesterrain yeah in my opinion OutKast is the greatest duo and Wu-Tang of course the greatest group in Hip-Hop history they are so unique and will never be duplicated

  • @RAthaPunisher no doubt about their uniqueness..i cant even put these two in a category..they're beyond the others..

  • THIS IS HIP HOP!!! there's no other way to put it.......too bad ppl these days listen to CRAP artists instead of real music

  • I'd like to give this 3000 thumbs up

  • Legends, period: every album went platinum, at the minimum. What current artist do you know that has done that? NONE. These brothers took a shit on Lil Wayne's gonorrhea ass and the rest of the hip-hop industry, lol.

  • @MrsGotBack damn straight, fuck lil way. too bad he's in one of their songs, hollywood divorce. big boi & andré 3000 are my favorite rappers & andré is one of my all time favorite artists

  • @MrsGotBack hell yeah. word up

  • This was the era when hip hop was peaceful. Such laid back music. Music no has some techno mixed in or has the same garbage being said while having no plot at all.

  • When did we decide to go from rap music like this to Lil' John, Lil' B, and Wakka Flakka?

  • wheeeeeeewwwww

  • THIS IS WHAT DIRTY SOUTH SOUND LIKE! FEEL ALL THIS!! L I S T E N!!!!! CAN YOU DIG IT!????

  • yo cehck out the freestyles on my page plz. thanks doggs

  • i like dhis shyt rite here and dis want i beh bumpin!!!

  • this is Atlanta , GA folks......not that wacka flocka fuck shit

  • @AllstarKing713 Call me a dumbass, but, I know what u mean by wacka flocka, but did someone come up with that? Does it mean anyone in particular? Lemme know.

  • @ewwitsthatoneguy wacka flocka..he's a god awful rapper

  • @AllstarKing713 so true

  • One of the greatest rap albums of all time by the greatest rap duo ever. Period.

  • This is what you call cookout music.

  • feel like im ridin n da fleetwood wit white walls wen i bump this n my saturn ion, lol,.true fu@kn classic...

  • Its that southerplayalisticcaddilac funky music

Now Players if you choose it

You better make sure you don't abuse it

We gonna get you high, high

  • Well its the m i crooked letter coming around the south Rollin straight hammers

  • @Bernx12 Don't worry they're wasting their time fanboying lil wayne

  • this is real music..shit now days is shit compared to this

  • As a southerner, I must correct the lyrics. It's "like collard greens and HOECAKES", not "whole eggs"... It's kind of a big biscuit you cook in a pan.

  • JUST GREAT!

    God I swear -> THAT'S the Stuff!

Songs like this have been music and not the electro/house Shit from today.

    Thums up!

  • Only Outkast could do something this good

  • Now we have Drake : /

  • Way better than hip hop today

  • damn I think was 94 and Hip-hop was At Its Finest..Besides The Magnificent Outkast,Nas,Large Proffesor,2pac,Wu-tang...ect...I Really sometimes Asked Myshelf..why was I born 1992 instead 82..Lol

  • Only 18 dislikes out of 400,157 people, thats incredible. Outkast for life

  • Now this is HIP HOP.

  • the shit

  • The golden era of rap is 88/97 With 1994 being its peak with all the classic albums and all the diverse rappers. It was a different type of business where artist and producers were loyal to there labels. Today were you would hire many different types of producers, rappers, and singers to be on one album would have been un heard off and looked at with scorn in the 90's. just look at some of the greats.. Death Row. Bad Boy. Nas, 2pac, Wu Tang Clan, Ice Cube, Cypress Hill, Ghetto Boys, Mob Deep etc

  • i played this shit in my hood in my car and these kids said it was gay. i asked them what kind of music do they want me to play. they said nikim minaj. i hopped out the car and wacked them mother fuckers with a newspaper and sent them home with a bicycle wheel up there ass

  • On December 24 at 8:00 in the morning a young 14 year old boy by the name of Scott Johnson was found dead. Docters couldn't come up with the caues of his death. His mother checked his Email to see if she could figure out what happened. Turned out he was still signed into myspace. She found he had gone to sleep after he read and didn't repost to a chain Letter. If you don't repost this to 6 videos a girl with no face will kill you tonight. Sorry I don't want to die.

  • When hip-hop was hip-hop. When you listen to the realism of the artist. When you felt that hard groove rattling your trunk and everybody knew what song it was. If we could just go back in time.....

  • Ya'll actually fell for that whole "I'm 15 and i only listen to 90's hiphop" bull shit? Really? Lol obviously its just for attention. Don't matter what generation your from, What interests you.Its music why wouldn't you enjoy it?

  • @brose333 wow its not for attention at all.. and i never said i only listen to 90s hip hop... im jus sayin im from this new generation where people my age dont listen to this kind of music at all. ( P.S. it was another top comment that said if you were born in the 90s leave now. thats why i posted that, jus to let u know)

  • @brose333 they do that shit for thumbs up

  • It's a shame that people don't respect old school anymore:(

  • So many memories rolling to this on Alabama State's yard.

  • im pretty sure the early mid 90s owned hip hop.

  • @MoneyTalks1132 More like late 80's - mid 90's.

  • @MoneyTalks1132 1994

  • @MoneyTalks1132 , that's why they refer to the time period roughly from 1986 to 1999 as the Golden Age of Hip-Hop Music

  • This is REAL outkast.

  • i like the chorus haha!

  • probably doesn't have more views because of how hard it is to type in the lengthy title into the search bar.

  • Classic!

  • this music was my home grown stuff... i went to school with big boi and didnt even know he was gonna blow up like this. although whne this album was just starting out i supported it because it was part of this city savannah ga

  • @That1GUYJJ , that's interesting. You went to school with Big Boi? Did you also go to school with Andre 3000?

  • This is that music you can vibe to. One thing I miss about this kind of music is you can sit outside & chill with your homies while you playing this, or how about you play this at your local house party or family gathering & everybdy get up & start dancing. Now days you can't do that anymore.

  • Yo yo yo get up off it and blow

  • ahhh real hip-hop..real artistry..real rhymin..mos def my all-time fave by OutKast..brings back so many memories of my high school days.......

  • need musik as good as this bak
