why does gumble say "changed paul mccartney...blah blah blah" why dosent he just say your or you its like hes seperating paul mccartney from the actual personand turning it into a brand or object. he is still paul the person first...just observing...
Paul said that he chose Here, There and Everywhere because in an interview in the 70's, John said is was HIS favorite "Paul" song. Paul said that it meant a lot to him that John praised that song - John hated a lot of Paul's songs and made no secret about it. John once said that Hello Goodbye "smells a mile away",
I really respect Paul for his incredible fame, yet at the same time for being a great Dad and a great family man. You would think that it would be hard to have both, but he pulls it off like it's nothing.
I really admire Paul's "coolness" when he's asked about his reaction to John's death. So many fans, like myself, are still enraged about it, and go so far as to make death threats to the man whose name should never be said in public as McCartney refers to him. It's a little ironic though 'cause if there is anyone that should be enraged about the incident, Paul should be. All the more reason I respect him for his self-control on being asked about it.
I don't understand why marijuana is against the law. Ppl are gonna do it whether the police like it or not. It takes over millions of grams before you even die from the stuff. And 90% of the world has tried once or more. If somebody did want to kill themselves...it's their business anyway. I guess it's just the law's commission coz they make tons of money...especially when they nab a pop star.
@imachildofthe80s8089 Drugs are bad ofr you- htey do things to your body that shouldnt happen. Idrugs kill so many innocnet peoplebecuse they give the false idea drugs are a cure to all problems yet all drugs like Maruajan do is cause problems like addiction and adiction leads to poverty which leads to crime..Henry McCullough who was guitarist in Paul's band Wings died of acidental overdose , George Harrison of the Beatles died from Smoking basically. If drugs were harmless they'd be legal.
Despite what Paul says, I think the Beatles would have reunited in some capacity if John had not died. In their maturing years, they would have gotten back together. Time has a way of healing wounds. Also, there would have come a point too when all of the Beatles would have recorded their share of solo albums. A group project of some kind would have been welcomed. The Monkees did it. The Police did it. Steely Dan did it. The Who did it. The Eagles did it. Band come together again.
@Doleafol The 3 remaining Beatles idd reunite a few times if you ok on youtibe- not publicly- just for a jam and for fun. and as Paul says in the interview hes reunited with Ringo alot then and now
@GoCowboys628 Who cares!- just becuase Paul is old (68 now) it doesnt mean you have to comment on his looks. In the interview Paul said he doesn't care abut gray hair or looks when getting old.
The government didn't organize shit. There was no need to. Lennon had been in retirement for 5 years and only recently came back. He was also not doing all the peace activism like he did in the late 60's. The truth of the matter is some nobody lunatic killed John Lennon for no apparent reason, other than fame. Nothing more, nothing less. This isn't one of those situations where the conspiracy theory makes sense, it's open and shut.
@Krush3144 actually it makes sense becuase the FBi under hte presiden'ts orders followed John daily- theres an entire book of Lennon FBI files publishedand yet many are still not published and kept secret- if there is nothing to hide- why not p publish the files?? besides even some nobody could've been hired by someone else to do it-
Mccartney shot Lennon, its a fact! They shared a hotel room and jhon found out that instead of feet Mccartney has hooves.Mccartney knew this could not get out so he killed Lennon. This is why the beatles split....Hope ive cleared things up for people.
I read interwiev, that paul, was so sad, and his children crys to.. I heard his son, say in this days, that, john was like father like paul was.. And just see the news about his death was very very sad...
For paul was trippel wired, becase, he was a brother for john....
The CIA tried to deport John Lennon for rallying people in protest to end theit corrupt Vietnam War. He was so influential that he could easily develop political clout or run for office, and the object was to destroy him and perpetuate the corrupt war for profit.
@PrincessShittyBottom finally someone who knows the facts--theres a whole book of Lennon FBI Files published called "Gime SOme Truth" the Lennon FBi FIles bby John Wierner-its ike 200 pages of FBi files yet some are blacked out becuase they're secret and many arent published. the president had Lennon stalked by the FBi every day of his post Beatle life practically so I agree the government could've been behind the murder
@julekert1234 There will be other legendary times. I get down on it too, but it just makes me try that much harder when I write music. We need another group like them right about now. Not their styles, no one can be that --but their impact, their passion, their love and their change. It'll come, wait and see.
thank you for sharing this video with us. I think there are many words Paul would like to say to John and the opposite, but time was over. Words we said today...
Okay, this is just me. I just think it's funny that all the songs played on the montage of him and Linda were songs for Jane. There aren't enough about Linda? XD
okay paul was criticized for having linda in his HIS band
but john (i like john and have nothin against him) isnt criticized when he brigns yoko ono into the recording studio and in the beatles a group he helped start but didnt do it on his own?? ijust dont get that......
what do you mean he didn't have yoko in his band. it was called the plastic ono band. that's her name and she sang backup in plenty of his songs, and even if she didn't she was there which is the whole point of having a wife in a band, so that you're making music together. people just got used to John and Yoko going everywhere together, but thought it was weird that Paul started too.
John was a recluse most of the time and too scared to get deported to make trouble for the "powers that be". And what about George who wasn't political at all who was almost stabbed to death in his own home - WHY - because like Chapman a nutter wanted to be famous by killing a beatle. I admire Paul for saying f it I"m living my life despite nutters.
Well Paul, you really don;t have to worry about nuts with guns trying to kill you since you didn't mess with the powers that be ... you should know that by now ... John was a target but you clearly aren't ...and sometimes I wonder if it's really worth it to become a target? To fight against big monsters? I don't know ...
Well, these days there's a lot of diversion, it's hard to know the truth since the people in power will do anything to preserve and increase their power. If you want to know the truth you have to do your homework and think clearly and objectively. Chapman was a drone brainswashed to kill Lennon. Why?
