I wonder which car will win in 1/4 mile, the 70 Challenger rt or Cuda with Hemi 426 or LS6 454 in 70 Chevelle SS?

the 69 440 magnum was rated at 375 HP, it really had about 390 to 410 HP in a B body.
the 69 440 six pack was rated at 390 HP, it really had 420 to 430 HP
the 69 street hemi was rated at 425 HP, it really had about 480 to 490 HP
The 440 had more lower rpm torque than a hemi.

No, the hemi made as much as 800 hps according to dyno tests by American Muscle Car series on the Speed Channel. The problem was most owners geared them w/3.23 instead of the correct 3.90's axle ratio.
