I did the distraction with everyone else, but where you stand doesnt matter, as long as you can kite them in the bottleneck. I got this achievement w/o the flaming betty up and Raynor had about 6 HP left

I got the achievement first try, the only thing extra i did was putting a medic in the far right corner and let tychus and the marines wander around a bit to pull as many as possible (pretty much all of them went towards tychus). I then placed the turret as soon as tychus was dead, waited till they were all in range and BAM finished the final mission achievements (it was my last). Thanks for the tutorial, I can say it works well with just a few minor adjustments to make it easier.

Great Video I looked at like 6 others and tried theirs but nothing did yours in 3 trys. Tip I use the "Pull man" and moved him into the first cave below Tychus, once he died used the other and Swan to pick up the rest the went in attack betty then i took the shot and got it. Thanks again.

no, it's not secret, however the missions are not always linear, and sometimes you have to make a choice, the choice you make will decide which mission you will get. (although you will be able to do them again later, after you finished all missions. except for the 1 secret mission, you will have to unlock that one)

This mission is one of the final missions where you will have the choice between clearing the sky or clearing the ground. this one is the one for ground.

The Easiest way. Beat/play this mission on Brutal. There are so many units in Brutal you can snipe with raynor and get more than 50 kills in one shot.

EASIER WAY: Leave the rest of your group back and out of the way. Grab Raynor and kite the guys into the gap right near them. Once they are all tunneling through that gap, shoot them. Thats it. Got it first try at that spot where you find the large group.

I got a great tip for you, I couldn't get this one cause the turret killed off too many, and i found that if i make the turret attack Egon there will be tons of more zergs and I got the achievement first try.

Nice! I noticed you commented on the vid that you should point the turret at Raynor, and have Swan join the distraction team, but if you leave swan there, and have the flame turret point at him instead of Raynor, then, more zerg can fill between Raynor and betty without getting flamed. Doing this, and placing Raynor low in that pass with an upwards sweep allows for a nice shot across a thick group of them.

I did this with Raynor and Betty only, just put Betty at the place where second group was, and waited for Betty to die, then when they went for Raynor there was a 50+ kills shot.

its not that hard as you describe it here. Just place Raynor down where the infested see u first, wait a few seconds and bring him middle to the path in position, wait until he is near dead and then shot. easy going, good video but its way way easier.

You can easily do the achievement on the pack at 0:22, move your team to the start position, only take Raynor to the pack, let him aggro the zerg and move them all down the choke, line up and fire. takes less time to prepare and you don't have to let your team be killed. Did this on Brutal on one run plus unlocked all the achievements in that one run. Key is just to save A LOT. Hard parts are banelings and nydus worms with banelings xD

Only thing I would suggest would be to check up strategies beforehand so you know you're delivering the best, such as the aiming the turret at Raynor bit.

hey this was really good....incidentally, I managed to get the achievement right where you make the pull. All I did was send Raynor in to get aggro with Stedman behind him. Then I backed up and waited until the mob was practically surrounding him and made the snipe. Thanks again for posting

seriusly...its easy to have the achievment with the first group in the beginning of this video so easily... and with raynor alone... got it at my first try. just make them follow raynor, back off a little bit, wait until the first ones start hitting u and shoot in the direction of the pack.......keep the thinking for harder things man...

yeh, this is much easier using the very first area in front of the swarm - this stops the enemies from spreading out which is the main problem here. Just use raynor and the medics

i did it this way too accept i didn't need to use the betty turret. I think Raynor probably got about 55 kills in that one shot. He was at 190 when the zerg started coming through the pass and shot a few while they were coming through, and ended up with 250 right after the shot.

If you want to increase the quality of Windows Movie Maker I'd recremend to not use the default for my computer settings. Instead use compress to (I think its the bottom one) and increase the number of MB until it is the largest it will go. This keeps the quality up. Also I like the video :)

thanks for this. i tried the achievement this way and got about 60 kills. had to kill a couple of ranged units with tychus and his group during the stalling because they blocked the entrance while attacking the turrent lol

Sorry to burst the bubble, but all that preperation isn't really needed

If you make the pull with raynor himself the swarm will stack up at the small gap.

The gap im refering to is the gab just right in front of the pack of infested marines (the large pack you used)

Then wait untill the front of the infested marines reaches raynor and stacks up around him, then take the shot. BOOM 50 kills, second try.

@okonami Lol you're right. I just did the achievement like that. No real preparation necessary. Just take the medic and raynor, make the pull, wait until they pile up and take the shot. Achievement flashed up a couple seconds later.

1000 1v1 wins with Terran gives you Nova which I guess is cool, but single player gives you Kerrigan and Valerian. Valerian is the coolest one. Guess I'll keep playing protoss and maybe get Tassadar one day.

I think that running raynor in and timing it nicely works better. It saves a lot of time and no heroes die. :) Just a suggestion for those who want it quick.

Bring raynor and the hero med to lure and back up just a bit and time the shot, you should be able to tell when.

You do realize you can do this REALLY easily by doing it to the south. Your strategy is stupidly complicated and you murder too many units with Betty to ensure an easy achievement.

See enkeilover's comment. The tunnel they filter out of when you first aggro them already is as narrow as the one you are painstakingly making, and they are all already in the source room as well. Just aggro, wait for a bit, run Raynor right into their face and take a shot for 51 kills.

I found it easier to keep a medic with the marines and tychus to make sure all the zerg are in that room, I kept swann with stetman and raynor and made the turret attack raynor (he's strong enough, don't worry) once all the zerg were in unharmed I then took my shot

Much easier to just do it with raynor + stetmann right on the aggro spot. Aggro them and run back to the edge of the first canyon (don't turn) and they should be in columns of four. Happy hunting.

Got mine. I found the key to getting the shot is to get back near the red crystals, pull everyone but Tycus, Reynor and healers back, run Tycus in and grenade the Infested Marines so they don't block the melee mobs' path, shoot down the line toward the Spine Crawlers.

I also dropped the fire turret in the path way on the other side of the crystals, it appears to have prevented the other zerg group from coming down that way.

You can do it right where the come out since they are quite clumped. Just take Raynor past the crystals, use a unit to grab, wait a few seconds, and fire.

Basically zombies barely do much damage to firebat when he is kiting and taking some hits.

But before they swarm him, i move him ahead of them and zag again and repeat.

I try to get the room as full as i can before getting out of it. To do this zig zag to a corner, and keep going around the corner, and make a sharp turn to the other side before they swarm you. Anyway doing this, i had them all bunched up nice and tight. Firebat then runs past Raynor, and Raynor takes the shot. I got this one try :D After that just place down the turret and grenade to finish them off.

Hi. I may have found a better way to do this. Basically the same spot as yours where you placed Raynor, although i moved him slightly back so he doesn't rush up and start attacking. Everyone else i put behind raynor position hold. Basically they don't do anything until after Raynor has his shot.

So i then send the firebat to get agro. When firebat is pulling them to Raynor, i make the bat zig and zag while taking small hits from the zombies.

Thanks for the tutorial, worked like a charm after about 5 attempts.

The attempts that were unsuccessful I was only between 1-10 kills off. The time that I succeeded I ended up with 61 kills.

How do you know if you got it or not is it instant or you have to complete the mission for the achievement?

@tomchang3 Once you get it, it will be instant. If you fail though and just want to see how close you got, a stat will show how many you killed in 1 shot at the end of the mission.
