The photograph of Carl Perkins signing autographs backstage at the Overton Park Shell in Memphis, Tennessee has a girl on the right stepping on his Blue Suede Shoe. Was this an accident or did the photographer stage this shot? Elvis Presley came to the show and was photographed signing autographs with Carl Perkins. Elvis did not perform. These were then the biggest stars on Sun Records: Mr. Blue Suede Shoes, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Warren Smith, and newcomer Roy Orbison from Texas.

yeah, fantastic advert! It looks like Elvis showed yp at this show and was introduced during intermission.
