  • whats the instrament to the right of joanna called?

  • I was there, great great memories, this song just blew me away!

  • I was there.

  • lucky!

  • Her accents are wondrous in this version

and I like the violin at the end and Joanna bobbing her head :D

  • I like this view, you can see the technical use of the pedals.

  • This is one of the most wonderful songs i've ever heard!

  • i disagree with the 'banal' comment, her voice adds to the magical innocence of her music, take 'This side of the blue' the music is beautiful, but it wouldn't be nearly as good without her vocals over the top

  • oh god guys i envy you so much

  • it's true that maybe she's not typically a 'high quality' singer in the modern sense, but her voice has an amazing quality perfect for such amazing lyrics. her music wouldn't be the same with the use of a banal singer.

  • i love her little squeaks in this song :D

  • I too was there and it was the best gig I have ever been to! Simply amazing!!! Thanks for posting!!

  • same, best thing i have ever seen

  • I completely agree, it was just magical. Most definitely the best gig ever!

  • I can imagine (and hope) that someone hires Joanna for an original soundtrack. Ala Tom Waits and Bjork....

  • Best evening I've ever spent at a concert, that's for sure. Perfect, and Roy's presence was the ultimate touch.

  • glad you all enjoy the vid :) yep, it was a simply beautiful evening, wonderful gig. something to remember for life

  • wowowow how amazing was this gig?? The silence of the audience during songs... i could see 2 people in my general area crying ha it was incredible. Probably the best gig ive ever been to!! SO speacial! If you havn't seen her and get the chance to, PLEASE do - you'll feel the same as me after!! :D

  • This was the best gig I've ever been to without a doubt. Joanna was on top form and came across as really humble and charming when she spoke to the audience. I totally fell in love with her.

And Roy Harper playing the whole of 'Stormcock' as the support act? Incredible. I got the album as soon as I got home and I can't stop listening to it. It was an unforgettable night.

  • This is the best video of the evening I have seen. She perfomed like an angel on the night. My mobile phone did not get a good enough capture so I am grateful to the person for making this video, in that I have something to remember of the evening.

  • Wow! I was at that gig! I can't believe you posted it so fast!!! It was a superb gig. the only that comes close was Iron Maiden in 1985, in my personal experience. Roy Harper was good too eh?

  • Absolutely awesome gig. One of the best (if not the best) I ever been.

  • ya i agree excellent clip, even better preformance!!! she made me cry like a girl. best gig iv ever seen!

  • thank you for posting this was a great real nice gig i had a wonderful time :)

  • The best clip of the night I've seen so far. I wish I had filmed a little myself but I was front row (soo lucky was I) and felt a bit conspicuous with my camera. I love when she makes those high noises during the instrumental parts and the bit when she wiggles her shoulders. An absolutely mind blowing night :)

  • Best gig ever... would love to see Sawdust and Diamonds again... my friend started crying it was so beautiful...

  • You got a great angle. Nice videos. I hope you got her new song. =]
