@coolcool1994 ... I don't think that any of the Senators are evil. Some are just mis-guided, but they also represent their constituents who are also sometimes misguided. Obama's low numbers are a result of the current recession and high unemployment rate, and that's pretty much it. As the economy improves, so will his numbers. His current approval rating is 48%. But keep in mind that at this same time in his Presidency Ronald Reagan was at 41%, and he won 49 states in his re-election.
The master at corruption thinks he did a good job. Russia is laughing at us, Europe thinks were fools, and the muslim world loves Obama. That is alote to be proud of. People in the middle class and specifically the working class haven't seen a real increase in income in more than 30 years, not just the last 10. This is a problem that both parties own. Be honest about it and take ownership of the problems. The best work incentive there is isn't a tax credit, it's a living minimum wage. $12.02/hr would be enough for a family to just (barely) get by on a single income. Support the return of the American Family.
Obama isn't the perfect President. And the Democratic Congress that just wrapped up isn't the perfect Congress. However, Obama is the best President in my lifetime, and this Congress has been the best Congress in my lifetime.

@coolcool1994 ... I don't think that any of the Senators are evil. Some are just mis-guided, but they also represent their constituents who are also sometimes misguided. Obama's low numbers are a result of the current recession and high unemployment rate, and that's pretty much it. As the economy improves, so will his numbers. His current approval rating is 48%. But keep in mind that at this same time in his Presidency Ronald Reagan was at 41%, and he won 49 states in his re-election.

Here's some truth for you. The economy is growing. People are being re-imployed. Dow is currently in the 11,000's. Millions of Americans are living in hope and millions more are feeling safe in their own country as we move towards equality. Millions more have received an official apology for racism from the highest office in the land. Torture, which is inhumane and reduces this country to what we have always hated, is being eliminated from military practice. ETC. ETC. ETC.

This lameduck session is a travesty and Obama tout "great successes, when he has majorities in both houses is disgraceful. The lame ducks are flying in the face of the American people. It's like throwing someone out of a party, then having them trash the house on the way out the door. Obama, Pelosi and Reid have effectively trashed the democrat brand for a generation. Awesome idea! We are the two most powerful countries working together to police nuclear arms; its much better than using them on each other. I just hope were not too late to police it, I hope the technology to detect portable nuclear bombs is efficient. And about Iran, I hope their people take back their country because a life without freedom is worse than death.

I'm an independent so I can actually look at the issue and if it's the right or wrong in my opinion I can agree or disagree with it. It seems to me that youre a slave to the Republican party, the party who got America to war (More than a trillion dollars wasted) and essentially caused the largest bankruptcy in American history which lasted over two years (2008 - 2009).

Also, Bush sent $40Bllion to fight AIDS in Africa, that being the largest allocation of funding of that kind in history. Lest we forget. Obama's "Stimulus" which passed on party lines, as have all the rest of his and Pelosi/Reid's garbage cost more than the total cost of the Iraq War!(by about 70 Billion) Minus TARP, Bush nearly balanced the Budget, How's Obama doin with that?

People in the middle class and specifically the working class haven't seen a real increase in income in more than 30 years, not just the last 10. This is a problem that both parties own. Be honest about it and take ownership of the problems. The best work incentive there is isn't a tax credit, it's a living minimum wage. $12.02/hr would be enough for a family to just (barely) get by on a single income. Support the return of the American Family.

Obama isn't the perfect President. And the Democratic Congress that just wrapped up isn't the perfect Congress. However, Obama is the best President in my lifetime, and this Congress has been the best Congress in my lifetime.
But this really says something about how awful past Presidents and Congresses have been. The past two years have been the US acting slightly sane, when usually the US acts like a bunch of raving lunatics who elect people like George W. to positions of power.
