I'll have to respectfully disagree with Stipe's political views. It's good to see he was happy with the results. Being a Libertarian, I don't know what Stipe would think about me :p
if you don't what he would think of you being a libertarian you can't know much about him or his politics. you seem to be judging him because is supports obama. he would not do the same to you
If I knew what your were implying from the start, I obviously wouldn't have responded. Your reply was a confusing, poorly written comment so I didn't know what you were trying to say.
gr8stipe you are retarded. why are you arguing with a fellow REM fan over politics? have the decency to respect one's political beliefs. if you wanna fight poltiics, take it elsewhere. this is about rem!!!! and for the record, nobody knows what the hell you were trying to say in your first comment. that shit was ridiculous to read
Look, Stipe has always been this way. And for those of you who say you like his music, his lyrics are political too. THat's why he mush-mouths them all the time. :D

This concert would have bugged the crap out of me. If he did this after virtually every song there would be no flow to the concert. If they wanted to watch the election returns so badly they shouldn't have scheduled a gig on that date.
I would stick to listening to their cds then if I were you. REM has always strongly supported certain candidates, and have made no secret that they are staunch democrats. If you have followed their career closely at all, they have been doing this publicly since the late 80s. It doesn't seem to be a real issue with most fans. I do understand where you are coming from... but, it is part of what and who they are. Always has been...
Stipe looks like he is dying of aids

@12stepfailure
It's the Irish in him. Irish people tend to look about 15-20 years older than what they actually are.

I'm sure Stipe, like many Americans, is feeling a bit disappointed by his presidency so far.

you just proved my point and exposed yourself. check and mate.

If you think I'm from Wasilla, then you must obviously be from Elkhart, Indiana right?
You cannot properly construct a sentence. You have no idea how to use punctuation. The first reply you wrote could give a first grader a challenge.
My friend, you're the dumbass here. What would Michael say when he finds out that he's attracted a idiot like yourself to the flock?
