4-strokes have come a long way and alot of money has been invested in 250 four strokes by the factories, don't plan on a company producing two bikes that would compete against each other. Plus 2 strokes are allowed to race against each other in the amateurs and most people are faster on a four stroke than a 2 stroke even if they won't admit it. Motocross action did a comparison with the two bikes and most the test riders had about the same lap times.

I was there at red bud on saturday.... And i am surprised no one is really talking about this... But justin barcia.... Jumped the leap every lap in moto one... This kid is a rookie and was jumping it everytime... he is insane... no other 250 rider did it more.... But RED BUD IS AMAZING... If you havent seen it in person... You need to go watch it... Laraccos leap is HUGE.... 90 ft face with a 120 foot blind triple....

that is pretty amazing but not as amazing as james stewart who didLlaraccos leap on a kx 125 . he was 16
