  • I remember tying my Teddy to my stomach and running around my house peeka booing my family.

  • Only Carol can successfully parody a satire. Is she God or what?

  • @4:00 GOOOLLLY! And Jim Nabors isn't even playing Gomer Pyle!

  • "Whaaaa".......

    Sounds hilarious! XD

  • Genius. Thanks for this great clip.

  • I said it before and I'll say it again; this was worth waiting 35 years to see again. If you were a "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" fan you know what I mean!

  • It was Carol Burnett's MARY HARTMAN parody called MARY MARY QUITE CONTRARY.

  • wwwwwwwhhhhaaaaaaaaaa...The ORIGINAL Pedo Bear!

  • Hahaha, love Burnett.

  • "I'm not insured for huffing and puffing". LMAO!

  • i like that one part where he goes wwwwwwhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • you crazy old coot get down from there before you get your panda blown off

  • love carol burnett's work. I can't talk now, I'm on the phone. LOL

  • Mary hartman would have been much better as a comedy rather then satire.

  • she the best there will be noone ever like her thank you carol tim harvy and vicki

  • This is better than the original show ! If Carol and crew replaced the cast of Mary Hartman, they'd still be on the air today. Hilarious !!

  • Vicky makes the cutest dumb blonde!

And I actually really like Carol's outfit + braids!

  • awsome sooo 70's - ahh memories

  • I love the peekaboo noise Tim Conway makes. Too, too funny!

  • Carol was so dead on as Mary Hartman, LOL Great stuff

  • @aiken1 Well, Mary Hartman was dead too. I used to watch that show when I was a kid and I experienced my first case of genuine depression from it. It had no laugh track, dim lighting, odd story lines and Mary seemed to be nursing a serious case of the blues.I used to dread that opening sequence where the woman shouts 'Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman!'

  • @ritter89 Yeah, if this show were on today the viewers would clearly see that Mary had a mental disorder. But I guess in the 70s she was just like the strange lady down the block and her "antics" were weird but adorable to them. Sorry for you trauma.

  • I just got the Norman Lear collection and saw Mary Hartman for the first time. STRANGE! I grew up with this sketch, so that's all I had to reference it. I'm so glad to see it again on youtube! Carol and friends did these characters perfectly!!!

  • This is one of my favorite Carol Burnett skits. I'll never forget how Tim Conway "peek-a-boos" the police from the kitchen sink! :)

  • owaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • is it just me or is teh panda a meatphor...for something much more important?

  • i think so............. XD

  • I remember seeing this skit as a kid, but I totally didn't get it because I'd never seen Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. Thanks so much for posting!

  • are you kidding me? shes the comedy queen! cheesy is her middle name.

  • One of my all-time favorite Carol Burnett Show skits. No matter how many times I watch this I burst at the seams.

  • What a great surprise!! I had no idea Carol had ever done 'Mary Hartman.' In your debt for sure!!

  • jim nabors as charllie 'baby boy' haggers! tooooo funny!! carol & vicki are spot on!

    thanks for uploading! (*;^)

  • Best shows ever!

Carol Burnett and Mary Hartman. Together it's pure entertainment and genius.
