this is all nice, but in reality, not a single road-legal car, with the best drivers in the world was this fast on the 'ring. zonda R was recently tested, it did it in 6:47. there's a video on YT.

@TeamMeStephen Yea rite, as you can see you probably never experienced driving on the Nordschleife track in real-life, at 2:15 you would have under-steered and crashed, simulators like forza3 and GT5 prologue are the real deal if you want a simulator racing on-sale now, shift is just another arcade game that tries to be a cross with a simulation but ends up short, wanna play a arcade game? Blur or Split/Second any day.

the laptime is 6:29 minutes. he starts at 4 seconds on the video and he ends at 6.33... so 6.33 - 0.04 = 6.29 for the lap. Thats a good time. I drive the murchielago in 6.50 1 lap.

Great Drive, and to you : raterperson: you are surely doing more then 180 Mph at only one Part of the Northloop. Flugplatz/Schwedenkreuz is also an extremly fast Passage, the downhill passage into the Fuchsröhre is also 180, maybe more and with enough Power you will also hit 180 at the Kesselchen/Klostertal passage!

2 things, first is about isoSkroting's comment about the timer, he is doing a time attack race where there is a set ammount of time and when the timer is done, you finnish up the lap and the race is over.

2nd thing, this CAN'T BE REAL because you can't get to 180 mph on any of the Nurburgring except for the main huge straight and he went aroun really tight corners without ANY undarsteer (turning but ending up in a wall).

This was NOT ment to be mean. Have fun with SHIFT, it ROCKS!!!!

There should still be a timer that shows how much time has elapsed on the current lap.

The top speed is no issue though. I tried quicktuning a Zonda R and set the Acc/Speed slider to 25 (which is halfway between acceleration and the middle). My car then did a top speed of 303 kph (188 mph). Tuning the same slider up to 26 would make it go about 348 kph (216 mph).
