The sad fact is you'll probably never get a game like midtown madness again, the silly stunts (non realism) is what made this game so much fun. Nowdays all games are ultra realistic to the point that once you've wet yourself over the lifelike graphics, there's no more fun to be had.

Show me a modern game where you can jump over buildings, race through stupid custom built obstacle courses in the sky and generally just mess around and have fun. That's what MM was all about.

Do you still have it installed? There is a file that you can put in game folder that lets you play it without CD! google for it and download and put in game folder.

Sorry to disappoint, but no, I did not use any trainers either.

I've said it many times, and say it again. It's just all about building up speed before the jumps. Let's take the 0:11 jump for example. To get that high there, I started at the opposite end of the Golden Gate bridge, to reach the required speed.

It's all about speed. You need to reach the highest speed possible for the jumps. Sometimes you have to start on the opposite side of San Francisco from where the jump is, just to be able to reach top speeds before you hit the ramp, or whatever it is.
