A child's kit must be based on their knowledge to use the items in the kit. But the basics are still needed.. Shelter, Food, and Water at a minimum. A coloring book isn't a bad idea either.. it gives them comfort and something to do.
FAK for gunshots is serious. Not being an EMT I am probably not qualified to offer that advice.. but if "I" got shot I would try to get the bullet out.. pack the wound with cayenne and probably some tampons for blood absorption
