  • @BornAgainstMormons the amount of views means you right?? what is this a numbers game now???

  • @lilbeaveymac Is English not your first language?

  • Gentlemen, aren't we missing the point of the video? 3 Nephi 11:29 reads "For verily, verily I say unto you, he that hath the spirit of contention is not of me, but is of the devil, who is the father of contention, and he stirreth up the hearts of men to contend with anger, one with another."

  • @Carcmaspike Are you contending that some one is contending?

  • @Carcmaspike then why so much contention with prop 8?

  • @lilbeaveymac You should ask the radical gays that. Why are they so contentious against good and God?

  • Gentlemen, aren't we missing the point of the video? 3 Nephi 11:29 reads "For verily, verily I say unto you, he that hath the spirit of contention is not of me, but is of the devil, who is the father of contention, and he stirreth up the hearts of men to contend with anger, one with another."

  • @Carcmaspike Many are angry with me because of my faith in Jesus Christ.

  • If Joseph, the original founder and prophet of the Mormons, translated all the works with the stone and had all the visions from god, and he died for his belief that men should have multiple wives (which is a major reason they were out to kill him) ...then how does this "prophet" even fit into the new commercially tailored Mormon church that is designed to sell to the masses?

ya kinda have to think ...the polygamist is the real Mormon, following Josephs final "testament."

  • @godnmyhands You make things up.

  • There is no such thing as a Mormon Christian. Mormons are NOT Christians. They believe in

JOE SMITH, JOE SMITH! What a bunch of nuts! They are going where he is, HELL!

  • @Captrowdy49 complete nonsense.

  • @Captrowdy49 see you there! =D

  • Hes saying that contention and evil are not the works of god but are of satan. How does that infuriate you?

  • @AgentEpic How did you arrive at that conclusion?

  • Between its covers you'll find a thorough overview for every chapter in the sacred book, each highlighting key concepts and passages and offering helpful character descriptions and story line summaries. This guide offers accessible lists of main themes in a given chapter, suggestions for how we might "liken the scriptures" to ourselves, and insights into what that chapter teaches us about Jesus Christ

  • I love your ignorance ^.^

  • @AgentEpic I would rather you love than hate like Ed Decker does.

  • @BornAgainstMormons Yes, loving is the right way to feel. How is that even a valid question?

  • @AgentEpic Question?

  • Accordingly, Gardner posits that the meaning of the Book of Mormon was deposited or revealed as the brain's native "language of thought," which Joseph's brain then translated or worked out into his own written and spoken language: English.

  • @omiolo Interesting concept.

  • A key theme is the importance of removing from our mindset a division between concepts of religion and magic, effectively illustrating that actions which we might classify as magic are, in many cases, primitive attempts to scientifically explain observed results and experiences.

  • @omiolo Many times primitive scientific attempts are incorrect.

  • you stir up the hearts of men sir...if they should be done away..then stop getting involved in politics...stop pushing the doctrines of a church proven false on the world in the name of a god just as false....Eternity is so much more than the lies told by this man...

  • @KyaniDave Mormon Christians will defend morality, right and wrong, and families whenever and where ever they can.

  • Thomas Monson needs to read the Bible, because it says be angry and do not sin. This guy is a prophet? Obviously not.

  • @sethmichaelmace Nonsense.

  • @BornAgainstMormons Read the Bible.

  • @jtomally9681 Which one?

  • @BornAgainstMormons The one and only. The HOLY BIBLE. The BoM may be another testament, however, that is not a Bible nor the Holy Bible. It may help understand certain aspects of the Holy Bible, however, it is not the Holy Bible.

  • @jtomally9681 There is no one and only. Every branch of Christendom has its own Holy Bible except the Mormon Christians who use the Protestant Holy Bible. I can not take you serious if you don't know basic facts about the Holy Bible.

  • @BornAgainstMormons I know more than you think. The BoM is not fake of the teachings of Jesus Christ, although the King James Version is the most accurate version of the Holy Bible that there will ever be so get your facts straight.

  • @jtomally9681 Is English not your native language?

  • @BornAgainstMormons Obviously it is not yours. I quit the Mormon Church because I believe that Joseph Smith is a liar, a story teller and he worshiped an idol by carrying a talisman for protection. He deceived me as well as everyone else.

  • @jtomally9681 Nonsense.

  • @BornAgainstMormons Believe what you wish.

  • @jtomally9681 I do because I wish for the knowledge of God to enlighten me.

  • @BornAgainstMormons So do I.

  • @jtomally9681 .. Joseph Smith did no such thing as deceiving anyone! Where do you read of a "talisman" that Joseph carried "for protection".. cite your sources please..

  • Thomas S. Monson needs to talk about how black people's skin is cursed, I really enjoy that Mormon belief.

  • @GrandmotherAbuser You enjoy anti- Mormon beliefs?

  • @BornAgainstMormons Do you enjoy anti-Christian beliefs?

  • Ephesians 5:11 have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. Decker exposed the true nature of mormonism, that is not contention, that is exposing the darkness!

  • @sharlyates40 Was that before or after Ed Decker beat his wife and abandoned his children? Who would your jesus bomb?

  • What I find great is the maker of this video (BornAganistMormons) isn't one to argue, which I find great. May it be that he is against my religion, but we are ALL (any religion period) to love each other, no matter what... Unconditional love you could say...

  • @trumpetboy262 Your religion?

  • @BornAgainstMormons Ill give you a hint, my religion is in your name...

  • @trumpetboy262 Nagain?

  • @BornAgainstMormons ....your the one thats need to be born again.and you need to soften your heart all the churchers are worshiping god.but u gotta pray for the truth and fast.

  • @nosi19 There you go.

  • He's a false prophet. Anger is not sin. "Be angry and sin not." The Mormons rituals are all Masonry. His words are like vomit to my ears. He needs to be born again! Jesus is God in the flesh! "If a spirit does not confess that Jeus is the word of God in the flesh, it is not of God." You can find that in the ordained written word of God- not the "mormon book".

  • @PeteWaldo These scriptures are why I reject your pagan trinity.

  • @BornAgainstMormons "These scriptures are why I reject your pagan trinity."

Most Mormons aren't usually straightforward enough to admit you reject the Gospel, and the hundreds of verses that regard the Father and His son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, to follow Joseph Smith instead. Thank you.

Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

  • @PeteWaldo An honest person wouldn't have concluded what you just concluded about what I wrote.

  • @BornAgainstMormons "An honest person wouldn't have concluded what you just concluded about what I wrote."

Please excuse my initial error of reading BornAgainMormons, not Against, so I thought you were a Mormon. Second you said

"These scriptures are why I reject your pagan trinity."

So then are you saying that you reject the hundreds of verses that reveal God as the Father and Jesus as His Son and the Spirit of God?

Muhammad's "angel" didn't like embarrassing questions either.

Surah 5:101 O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which, if made plain to you, may cause you trouble.

  • @BornAgainstMormons "You jump a lot." If you mean you noticed that I am primarily in ministry to followers of Muhammad, you are right. In the years I have been on YouTube this may be one of only a couplefew times that I posted on a Mormon thread. I don't have time and there are plenty of folks already called to this area of ministry.

  • @PeteWaldo You use some radical Muslim techniques.

  • @BornAgainstMormons "You use some radical Muslim techniques." With 500 character limitations it's hard not to be direct and thus brutally honest. I offer better through a forum accessible on the first link on my videos. There is no shortage of "Christians" trying to conform Jesus to Islam through interfaith pluralism & abomination like "Chrislam". We only need a single verse from the Quran to see that Muhammad professed the EXACT OPPOSITE of the WHOLE SUBJECT of the Gospel.

  • @BornAgainstMormons Surah 4:157 That THEY SAID (in boast), "WE KILLED CHRIST JESUS...BUT THEY KILLED HIM NOT, NOR CRUCIFIED HIM, but so it was made to appear to them,... FOR OF A SURETY THEY KILLED HIM NOT

    One more verse clinches it

Sura 19:88 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 89 INDEED YE HAVE PUT FORTH A THING MOST MONSTROUS!

If a Musilm confesses that Jesus is the Son of God he has committed the most egregious only unpardonable sin.

    watch?v=cCE_sti-uZc

  • @BornAgainstMormons To reject the Son of God is to reject over 100 verses regarding the Son of God and another 230 verses that regard God the Father.

  • It says in the bible itself that God will judge all man and their religions... In other words, it is not your choice to judge someone or their religion; it's God's. So, basically, if you judge someone or their religion, you are doing work for Satan. You can try to teach them things from your relgion, but saying it's wrong flat out is the work of Satan indefinantly. Fighting over religion isn't the thing nescessary on comments for a video...

  • @trumpetboy262 Is that all the Bible says about judging?

  • Islam is the true enemy.

  • @MrA1Goku Pastor McCraney is self destructive. All those who heed him end up self destructive too.

  • I have watched dozens and dozens of "Heart of the Matter's" Shawn McCraney videos. Shawn McCraney is indeed self-destructive. I also find him to be a bitter, hateful, dishonest person. He is sarcastic & condescending. These are the fruits I know him by. I want no part of his brand of faith. I will gladly rather continue to follow my Savior Jesus Christ in Joy & love... and "let the jackals bark".

  • @LDSTrueDoctrine I agree, not only is Pastor McCraney self destructive but those that heed him become the same.

  • I have watched dozens and dozens of "Heart of the Matter's" Shawn McCraney videos. Shawn McCraney is indeed self-destructive. I also find him to be a bitter, hateful, dishonest person. He is sarcastic & condescending. These are the fruits I know him by, & what he breeds. I want no part of his brand of faith. I will gladly rather continue to follow my Savior Jesus Christ in Joy & love... and "let the jackals bark".

  • @candiceevans1

Please don't lie. I hope you know this isn't true.

If you really believe LDS are not Christians then you don't understand the true teachings of the church. There are many "Christian" denominations that have different views of Christ & His teachings. Just because you disagree with someone's doctrine doesn't give you the authority to say who is "Christian" & who isn't, my friend.

  • @LDSTrueDoctrine Being Christian means being Christ-like. Is it Christ-like to lie about a whole race of people as being cursed by God with dark skin? Is it Christ-like to say that people with dark skin are in league with satan?

  • @easmachine You won't find that in Mormon Christian Holy Scriptures.

  • @BornAgainstMormons Really? Have you read 2 Nephi?

  • @easmachine Apparently you haven't. Dark skin never meant one is in league with Satan. Even though I think that is old Trinitarian doctrine.

  • @BornAgainstMormons I notice that you display responses to my comments, but not the comments themselves. I've actually read the book of Mormon-If you don't believe it's a racist scripture (2 nephi 21 for example) then maybe you've just accepted white supremacy as your god's will. If so, we have nothing else to discuss. I tire of kicking against the pricks.

  • @easmachine Did you use vulgarities?

  • @easmachine First off easmachine, we don't believe that dark skined people are in league with Satan, that's a popular lie about us... We beleive only the people who did the afflictions(sins) were cursed, but the skin color was passed on. We beleive that everyone on the Earth chose God and Jesus in the begining, and are here to prove themself. Those in Leage with Satan went to Hell for all eternity, never to be able to repent (The 1/3). If you need more information, send me a private message.

  • @trumpetboy262 He knows that isn't true. He is simply race baiting.

  • @trumpetboy262 It is amazing that you can't see that the idea that dark skin is a curse as a sign of racism in Mormon Scripture. IT is a Libel against everyone who isn't "white and delightsome"and I don't need a private message to tell me right is left or up is down. What individuals believe is OFTEN seperate from doctrine or scripture-But that doesn't change doctrine or scripture. Apologists for white supremacy act as if the rest of the world is illiterate. It is an insult .

  • @LDSTrueDoctrine - That is the oddest thing I have heard. Of course Christians have the "authority" to say who is and isn't. We are told that we will know by their fruits. So Paul says right there how we can tell. Candice is just making the statement. And I pray that you will deny the false doctrine you have and come to know Christ for real. Joseph Smith was a coward and a swindler, then and now. Call on Jesus and be free from this nonsense. God bless.

  • @STATRipper

You have just proved what Thomas Monson said in this video to be true. And in doing so, invalidated your own point. By your logic I could just as easily say YOU are not a Christian, but I don't know your heart. Only God does. I was an evangelical for years. I understand doctrine. You apparently will argue & insult regardless of anything anyone says. So this will be my last word. The "fruits" of Christ's true church are sweeter & more beautiful than any I have seen! Taste & see.

  • @LDSTrueDoctrine LDS "IS" not christian in any way shape or form, it is a lie and if you did "just" a little research on the begginings of that false faith you would run from it as fast as you can! GO TO THE WEB SHOW CALLED "HEART OF THE MATTER" HOSTED BY SHAWN McCRANEY AND GET EDUCATED FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE!.

  • @MrA1Goku Nonsense.

  • @MrA1Goku We are Christian... We beleive that Joseph Smith himself saw God AND Jesus. Our teachings say that we are trying to be more Christ-like and we have a song that the little kids sing: "I am trying to be like Jesus". We beleive in trying to still follow the ten commandments unlike some religions I know... Jesus himself followed the commandments. We walk in Jesus's footsteps to become like him... And, you can't trust someone who says something about a church they aren't a part of...

  • @trumpetboy262 True.

  • You want respect and tolerance but ignore the fact that the all churches on earth in Joseph Smith's time would be an abomination and founded by Satan (1 Nephi 14, chapter heading, 3--5, 8-17, Joseph Smith-History 1:18-19). If all the churches on earth were of Satan in 1820, why aren't they considered so today?

  • @LDSTrueDoctrine The fact of the matter is that the Bible tells us to judge righteously and to prove all things.

No, Mormons aren't Christians because the Mormon jesus is a weak potatohead, the product of incest, and a polygamist.

  • @moparmonster1965 ...I am not here to argue. I will not be baited into hateful verbal exchanges. If you ever want to have civilized, respectful conversation I would love to continue; but for now, I am done. I pray that you would let go of the hatred & bitterness in you that cause you to hurl the dishonest, degrading insults that you do; and find the peace & joy that Christ offers.

I will continue to pray for you, brother. pm me if you ever want to talk. I will be here.

    -God bless.

  • @LDSTrueDoctrine Yes, mparmonster wants to race bait. It is easier than debating something on its actual merits.

  • Why do Mormons hate Catholics, Jews, Jehovah's Witnesses, and protestant evangelicals so much?

  • @magnus56j A better question is why do you post nonsensical questions.

  • @magnus56j We don't, we love everyone. I am friends with all of those you said actually and even dating a Protestant currrently. To go into more detail, we love them so much that we (beleiving we are the true church) try to spread the word to them so that they may know the truth.

  • @trumpetboy262 Love makes the world go round.

  • "Define us by who we are and by our central beliefs rather than who we are not or by obscure or irrelevant beliefs," Michael R. Otterson, managing director of public affairs for the LDS Church, said during a Thursday morning session of a conference called, "Politics and Religion: Getting it Right in 2012."

  • @omiolo Defining us by who we makes it impossible to demonize us.

  • @omiolo That is a lot of lights. It looks magnificent though coming around the belt route.

  • Don't forget that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints also celebrates Christmas on December 25. Christmas Eve carol services, however, are not staples of Mormon celebrations like they are in Protestant churches. Instead, Mormon traditions include watching the LDS' annual "First Presidency Christmas Devotional" and visiting the decorated Temple Square in Salt Lake City.

  • (By that I mean, for a lack of a better and more concise term, the idea that our beliefs, while uniform, are also faceted from our lives and experiences, I feel we are supposed to take a pro-active approach on what the Gospel means). Back to what I was saying, to say to the individuals who have made a human decision that this is what they really believe, that they were spoon-fed that conclusion, is a little... brash, I guess? For some, our process has been up and down, my own spiritual change was one where I had gone from a very, very strong Mormon upbringing to being severely inactive and not wanting anything to do with it (and coming slowly back in, it's almost full circle). To say for some of us who have intimately developed our personal "religion" (

  • @Phi1ny3 What were the turning points?

  • @BornAgainstMormons I had seen where my life was going, and I had a moment of "catharsis" almost. I always had a struggle to see things spiritually, but I sort of came to realize how much of my life had been helped because of my circumstances I had lived in prior.

  • Okay, I generally like to be hopefully more objective, so I'll see if I can offer a rebuttal to the best of my knowledge to some of this anti-Mormon sentiment, just know a lot of this will probably be more speculation, and probably not official. If you would like to give me sources, PM them to me.
