lol of course the democrats will do nothing about it. In the end you are getting virtually the same agendas that the govt. wants with either party in office. We all blindly vote on the same 2 parties for 2 different men that the govt. has chosen. If you really want to get something done in the govt, vote for an independent. someone who is not pre-chosen. quit being sheep. think for yourselves. question authority
Election reform should be at the top of the Democratic party's agenda when they reconvene in January, 2009. Clearly, it is the Democratic party that is getting royally screwed by this electronic thievery! If the people can't have confidence that their vote will be counted, and be counted accurately, then we don't have a Democracy. We have a SCAM. Period.
They would have stolen the 2008 election as well if it was close. But when it is a landslide like this year they had to accept the outcome. But Id be willing to bet that the republiCONs stole at least a million votes this year, but it just wasn't enough to take the prize.
The real problem is that the dems continue to do NOTHING in response.
Newly obtained computer schematics provide further detail of how electronic voting data was routed during the 2004 election from Ohio's Secretary of State's office through a partisan Tennessee web hosting company. ... The flow chart shows how voting information was transferred from Ohio to SmarTech Inc., a Chattanooga Tennessee IT company known for its close association with the Republican Party, before the 2004 election results were displayed online.
A funny thing happened on the way to a McCain "victory" in Ohio and other states.
Karl Rove's computer guru got hauled into court the day before election day and was ordered to testify about what he did during the 2004 vote count in Ohio.
Republican IT "Guru" Mike Connell Ordered To Give Deposition
California (or at least the machine I used today) had mechanism with printed audit receipt that shows up behind glass, so that you can be sure there is a hard record of your vote and that it is a mirror reflection of what you voted for. This way there is something to do a manual recount with, if there is any problems. I can't believe any state would be using anything that didn't have a hard audit trail in case of a problem or claims of impropriety.
When I was register to vote there was 2 suits in there going thru a huge card file, lookin likr they was checkin again some list. They dont work there, I been in there before, only one lady registering and one anmswering phones.
I thoughjt vote records is private.
I heard they look for back child support an other stuff and catch peopel at voting place.
It's part of the voter fraud task force deal Congress cut with the Atty Gen, "for the sake of the children," dontcha know. Prosecutors look the other way at all the fraud in Kerry's and Hillary's (Senate) campaign, and the Feds are no longer blocked from voter records or staking out voting sites.
Illegals, felons & deadbeat dads get boned, Feds & locals run their arrest rates thru the roof. Win-win, for them.
Like George Carlin said "Fuck the Children, They're getting entirely too much attention". Its not really for the children its a scare tactic to ramrod shit legislation down our throats.
Sept 2008: reports are coming in all over the country about McCain campaign voter caging scams including mailing absentee ballots to people with the wrong return address. Anywhere that has been hit hard by Republican economic policies (Florida, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin...), the fix is in to keep as many voters away from the polls as possible. BE AFRAID, AMERICA! BE VERY AFRAID! OUR DEMOCRACY AND YOUR VOTE ARE BEING STOLEN BEFORE YOUR VERY EYES!!!
