California (or at least the machine I used today) had mechanism with printed audit receipt that shows up behind glass, so that you can be sure there is a hard record of your vote and that it is a mirror reflection of what you voted for. This way there is something to do a manual recount with, if there is any problems. I can't believe any state would be using anything that didn't have a hard audit trail in case of a problem or claims of impropriety.

When I was register to vote there was 2 suits in there going thru a huge card file, lookin likr they was checkin again some list. They dont work there, I been in there before, only one lady registering and one anmswering phones.

I heard they look for back child support an other stuff and catch peopel at voting place.
