  • Alright Everybody quit screwing around with this crap and check out Snakebytestv!

  • 33 foot.... Riiiiiigggghhhhttt...

  • this is the worldest longest snake it will eat you..

  • @spritepot no it won't.

  • @spritepot train it like a dog, do your RESEARCH FIRST. learn nonvenomous snake psychology. my corn snake are trained, and my new rainbow boa

  • what a dick expert village suck

  • LEARN TO MAKE YOUR VIDEO NAMES RIGHT SALLY!!

  • Spastic village more like

  • what temps and hummity does it need? Is it aggressive? and what do you mean anything it catches? children? dogs? cats? people from expert village? do I let it roam the house? can I keep it in a 10 gallon tank? will it be friends with my tegu if I pet them together since its not a mammal? Honestly worst care video ever

  • Well thanks for all the useful information I could find out more on how to properly care for this species by reading an online care sheet. All you’ve done is told us where part of the animal’s name comes from how long they live and how big they can grow to be. Granted those are a thing one needs to know. but that hardly constitutes a proper video on the subject.

  • he really know his stuff thanks mate

  • why dont they just call it reticulated pythong info??? this didnt tell me anything except that theyre large, eat mammals, and that theyre slender

  • @MinotaurTank take your own advice and grow up.

  • @Slyther83 have a good life, douché.

  • @MinotaurTank good luck with college big guy, sounds like you'll need it "anamal manegement course's". lmao

  • @Slyther83 funny? if you dont beleave me, im registered at shuttleworth college located in biggleswade. have fun asshole. jsut a few spell fails on my part.

  • Reticulated pythons can eat people don't get one unless you have several people to help you feed it at once

  • He spent 52 seconds of the video just about facts

  • Comment removed

  • It's obvious he's reading off a board behind the camera... hmmm longer than 33 feet :L

  • wow 33 feet! haha just like there is one that is 49 feet and a 1000 pounds haha retards

  • Well that wasted 1:46 of my time!

  • 33 feet/nooooo only sula females maybe befor you miss inform people and scare them you should pick up a book ther smart one!!!

  • "They reach a length of over 33 ft" - Fuck me where do they find these idiots?! The largest in captivity is 24 ft and the Bronx zoo has had a reward of $50,000 for anyone that can bring them a 30 ft+ snake, and guess what? It has NEVER been claimed... There is so much crap banded around about these snakes, and idiots like this just perpetuate the ignorance towards them... 'learn how to care for' - there is NO mention of temperature gradients or humidity, or even the vivarium size they require...

  • Well, the ExpertVillage sure has its fair share of idiots.

  • I wish they would breed "mini" reticulated python

  • @mrantis lol. get an aggressive ball python :)

  • he is probably looking at a guy holding the sign with all these facts acting like he did his good research because when he did the other care video he talked about using and recommending the wrong substrate for a breaded dragon

  • lol he is not talking how to take care with python he is just talking about them lol

  • Up to 33 feet long, huh? Show me.

Reports of a Retic, anywhere near 33 feet long was from what?...the 1920s?

Retics growing to 20' - 25', sure...but how many, in the world, are that size?...less than a handful and they're all captive specimens.

Great info, but if you're gonna tout yourself as an 'expert", get your facts straight and stop adding to the hype and hysteria, that the media is vomiting out of their mouths.

  • @FishtankG Hey there

I'm pretty I did my research into it and it was a female retic that got about 32ft but there was a bullshit story about a 49ft one. But you are right about them pushing 25 feet is quite rare. But hey look at fluffy (not fluffy the second) its an example of the wonders they can become ^_^

  • these snakes are affordable i should get one

  • World record snake is 49 feet :B

  • This video was interesting... but had NOTHING to do with how to CARE for a snake.

  • Longest snake ever captured in the wild measures 32.92 feet and is a reticulated python. End of story.

  • @411iPodtouch , another one whos wrong, actually the retic is the longest snake in the world , anconda just gets heavier, and the biggest snake in captivity ive ever heard of was around 24 feet and im pretty sure the snake is owned by bob clark and yes its a retic

  • @jmatte666 I am possitve that the retic is smaller. I am not talking about captively bred. I am talking born and raised from the wild

  • @411iPodtouch yea even in the wild, im 100% positive the longest snake ever recorded in the wild is right around 27 feet and it was too a retic, and to be honest im pretty sure even a african rock python will get longer than a anaconda, but anacondas are big i kno of one that was about 20 feet and 400 lbs

  • You really know your stuff i'll subscribe to you

  • Lol i commented before i watched the vid and he says exactly what you said i will still subscribe cus i am a man of my word

  • Rubbish actually 27ft

    411iPodtouch

  • This is an extremely irresponsible video. These are NOT snakes that should be kept as pets. After 2 or 3 years they are big enough and have needs that not a lot of people can handle. Retics are also pretty aggressive. These should only be kept by VERY experienced keepers with lots of time spent with large constrictors.

  • How bad can it be ive had expirience with scrubs now those things are mean

  • Im thinking of getting one and this video has told me nothing of how to care for it

  • Don't get one, i have one, and its the meanest thing ever! I have tried to calm it down every way possible, to no avail!

  • they should rename this video cause it says how to care for a retic but it should say retic facts

  • i have a corn snake, she's a nice wee character, I'm fascinated with Retics and Burmies but common sense always wins out. Maybe a Ball Python

  • wow. Now I know how to take care or a reticulated ball python. (sarcasm) 1 question. For anyone who owns a giant retic. What do you feed it?

  • get a super dwarf retic if you're worried about size and temper...super dwarf males are around 6 feet and don't get bigger than 8 feet...females rarely do either...that and they're very even tempered...retics are nice snakes! if you can't handle the size then get a dwarf or super dwarf

  • if your looking to get a retic, you shouldnt even need to watch this vid....

  • LOL THAT'S for sure!!

  • those snakes are bloody mental and very tempermental

  • YUP!!

  • what would you recomend for a pet

    corn snake or python

  • if its your first snake then go with a corn snake or if its your first python go with a ball python

  • A boa! Ball pythons are booorrring...

  • yeah but you dont just tell people to get a boa for a starter snake ball pythons arnt boring theyr are so many morphs

  • Well i guess it's just a matter of personal preference.

  • I do

  • jst2k09 your right that this guys a fool, but retics can be a good pet snake but they require an unbelivable amount of dedication and interaction, which is why i wouldnt get one, but it is possible to make them a good pet snake, jus more work than im willing lol

  • i'd hate to have to clean up after them. Boa poops are big enough!

  • think of a horse. i help my friend with his and when we clean its stuff we use snow shovel

  • HOW TO CARE FOR A RETIC I WANT TO KNOW.

expert village is a bag of masturbation juice

  • Retics make bad pets. Too big, too aggressive. This man is a fool

  • yup. i love snakes and other reptiles but i wouldnt get a reti. th grow too large. and strike quite often

  • The title says "how to care for a reticulated python", which is something he did not talk about. A person wanting to buy their first retic wouldn't learn much at all from this video.

  • Oh wow after watching that I know everything I need to know to own a reticulated python! Thanks expert village for another pointless crap video!

  • @murpheusBDA If you don't like them that much, then why do you watch them you stupid idiot.

  • @BrianaNickole If you din't like what I said then why did you read it you stupid idiot?

  • @BrianaNickole Well maybe he is interested in learning how to care for them? This video has NO useful information on caring for Retics!

  • I would not own a reticulated python but respect those who do.

And about those arguments here. Yes they have killed people.

  • And about your arguement... n they have not killed people... they can kill people.. but there has not been a reported killing... all the pictures you have seen are a hoax and you are a rumor spreader.. you are the kind of people that make everyone scared of snakes.

  • They have killed both in captivity and in nature.

I agree pictures are hoax. Most of the snakes cant swallow humans but they can kill you.

And there is one confirmed case of a snake swallowing an adult and 3 cases of swallowing children.

In captivity about 1 confirmed case and 2 unconfirmed

  • Didnt know that... if you have a link to some literature on this that would be great i'd love to check it out.

  • Theres some in wikipedia and from there you can search other cases :) I have some other links too somewhere on my PC so send me a message and i can send you. But i agree with you that people should not be afraid of the snakes. Most ( if not all) of these killings are humans own fault. Either invading the territory or not using proper safety when handling or feeding

  • Ok thanks:-)

  • yes they have

  • this guy's an idiot.

[sarcasm] i love the way he stretches out the python as though that's an okay thing to do with your pet snake.

clearly he is an example to us all [/sarcasm]

  • are albinos tame like this? I had a juvenile retic once and its fierce as hell. And he was only 2ft long. Cant imagine it at 20 feet.

  • Retics can be flighty, some are chill, others... aren't. Hardcore snakes like Burms and Bloods are like that too, the good, the bad, and the always beautiful. < Dilemma, lol.

  • your such a moron

  • Go to hell.

  • they're pretty goddamned close. Please, shut up cockmongerer, as you're simply exploiting and making the 1-5 foot difference per species a massive hyperbole.

    -To 504stunta

    -From Me ;)

  • When you get a hundred burms, and the max length of the group is 35 feet and the shortest, 9, with the average length being around 16 feet, and a hundred retics, the max length being 36 and the shortest being 13, the average around 15 feet, and a hundred anacondas with the longest being 31 and the shortest 14, the average length being 17 or so. Therefore, seeing as the maximum length, minimum length, average length, and range of the lengths being within 8 feet of every other group, I'd say that

  • i hate that everytime you hear a so called animal pro talk about a retic you hear can grow over 33ft, i've even herd that about af.rock python

  • all the snakes you have listed are impressive. but burms and african rocks do not reach the weights and length records of retics or anacondas. 33' is the record for a retic. 20'+ is common for larger specimens. anacondas have the record for the largest, meaning in overall size. african rocks do get big, just not as big as a green anaconda. also this poser in the video can not be classified as a redneck. he's a pencil pusher who speaks well in front of a camera.

  • misleading, for the baby retic's i would feed the right size rat's then go up from there, more meat on rats good for the babys, forget mice.

  • over 33 feet huh?thats funny the world record is 32 feet and that was in 1912.and theres no proof of even that recond.

  • Dude a lot of your facts are wrong this video sucks majorly; TheStormsTempest retics, burms, condas, and African Rock pythons are NOT tied as being the longest snake the retic takes that title so don't be talking about stuff you don't know about

  • Ok... Steve Irwin.

  • I think the Retics are sick but I wouldnt want to own one. I have a ball python and thinking of getting a Red Tail. Red Tail Boa female get at largest about 8-10 ft. That is HUGE and large enough for me. I hear anything over 6ft could be fatal to a human. I wouldnt own a Retic or a Burmese ever. Way to big to keep.

  • Ok I dont know what im talking about, why is that, because I state facts?and the rest of you: dont get a burmese either, because none of you really seem to know what your talking about, not like i care about your lives but the animal's; and you would make responsible pet owners look bad

  • I agree,as someone who has owned and breed burms and retics for years even a dog tame 12 foot burm can be a handfull to handle alone even if its calm I know at any moment it could overpower me (5'9" 205lbs)easily. people think giant snakes are cool until they have to deal with it(or them if you breed a few).Just maintaining a half dozen retics (my breeding stock) is like a part time job with cleaning and then if you dont breed the rabbits expect to pay $10-$15 each on a weekly/bi weekly basis.

  • just remember any constrictor over 12 feet can kill you, period!and its not like venomous snakes,if you handle or feed one by yourself and you get wrapped and squeezed, your dead,no driving to hospital , no 911,its happened, they may not eat you but they will cease your breathing.

  • shut up u hav no idea wat ur talking about...

  • a 12 foot snake cant eat u but it can easily kill u so dont tell som1 they dont know what they r talking about when obviously u r the one who doesnt know what they r talking about

  • that was poor, you should have paided me to watch that

  • there both gonna be large snakes, the burms are gonna be more thick and heavy,i have never kept a retic, but they seem to be more slender and long but they get heavy also,i would go with the retic since i have never owned one.

  • which would you recomend male burm or male retic i mean i really like retics but when he getsover 10 feet its not gonna b ez 2 gold him

  • get a burm retics get about 24 ft

  • A 24 foot retic would be rare, female probably a sulawesi locality animal and would require a few years of heavy feeding to achieve that size. Males average 12-14 and females average 14-18 feet. there are island dwarf retics (jamps) that have not been over 15-16 feet and breed at much less than 10 feet. Also there was a burm named baby from serpent safari that was 24 feet and 405 lbs.

  • 24's not that rare, my buddy's got a 20 foot tiger retic and she's still growing.

  • Get a boa... They are really chilled out and reach 10 ft max, so are still manageable when fully grown. Plus you don't have to set a whole room aside for when it is like a burm or retic... not to mention much smaller feeding expenses.

  • When I was keeping snakes the burmese python was the the giants i kept, iam gald to see the retic's are so popular. Boa vs Python I'll take a python they have a higher interaction with you, almost like they know you after awhile awsome snakes the retic's & burms.

  • if you have never had a snake over the length of 15 ft would this one be a good one to start with

  • i would recommend a female burmese python over a reticulated python. burms are much more docile and much less expensive and females have been known to grow to 20 feet. reticulated pythons and african rocks are known to be much more aggressive snakes and in some places are not allowed to be kept without proper licensing.

  • don't you think its funny when he talks about feeding, he starts with mice and then doesn't know what to say when the snake gets bigger

  • wow 2ft long babies thats a big as babie lol my baby boa is only 3ft long now and hes 1 and a half

  • 32ft 10in

  • I've handled probably 50 or so reticulated pythons, and they all have their own personality.

The only kind of snake I've noticed with a predisposition to being a jerk is the anaconda. Out of the 20 or so I've worked with, all but one were unfriendly. :)

With a constrictor of this size, of course you can never trust it completely. They are still wild animals, but the owner definitely has an impact on the sociability. The general rule is one person for every 4 feet of snake.

  • i thought it was one every five feet but i think the two people six foot rule is bullshit

  • True I guess they could be tamed wouldn't wanna risk it though. If I had one that was aggressive I would prefer it be aggressive at three feet instead of 20 or more.

  • and he forgot to mention that they are very aggressive

  • mostly in the wild though

  • that 49 footer was a fraud. longest recorded was 33' i believe

  • yea i think thats right about 33' maybe a lil smaller

  • no I thanik the one held at the zoo I thaink in indonesia was a 49 footer

  • umm no it turns out it was like 22 feet buddy

  • I thought so but heard so many rumors so I wasn't for shure, that would be a big snake though.

  • your correct trusty : ) im sure he was jus being general when he said over 33 and he dont give any care facts:P

  • im pretty sure the longest retic was 32'9" - 32' 10"

  • The longest snake was 33 foot but now there is one that was just got that is 49 foot.

  • if you're talking about that lethargic beast out in india or where-ever, that one was deemed half the size the zoo claimed it to be. I believe it was somewhere at 22 or 23 feet

  • He really didnt say anything about how to care for a retic...

and he said "OVER 33 feet"

    ...

    loser
