@projectbluebook1 It's a trick to get people into the clubs. They would always have these parties close to the clubs, when the party gets broken up they would take everyone into the nearby club that would have an open bar.

This is hardly the "outlaw" that the Party Monster movie makes it out to be. They couldn't do Burger King cause Alig whines, "Burger King wouldn't let us do it," then he acknowledges arranging the event and paying the manager $1,000 at McDonalds (the manager eventually complains to Alig about the dress style of the patrons). The reality of a paid party at McDonalds with the blessing of the manager and zero risk for Alig or the patrons, is quite sad.
