From reading about history and watching PBS, and the history channel you can use the argument that many New Englanders were traitors during the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. Many New Englanders were more loyal to the royal crown than to the new United States constitution and country. They were willing to give this country back to Great Britain during the fighting of 1812 while general Andrew Jackson was kicking the crap out of the British in the south at the same time.

From reading about history and watching PBS, and the history channel you can use the argument that many New Englanders were traitors during the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812. Many New Englanders were more loyal to the royal crown than to the new United States constitution and country. They were willing to give this country back to Great Britain during the fighting of 1812 while general Andrew Jackson was kicking the crap out of the British in the south at the same time.

If you chose to leave somewhere and some one tried to stop you, does this make you an active participant in the place you are held? No it makes you a prisoner. Your property does not cease to be yours because someone else claims it. This is the case with southern lands. They are the property of the southern people. If you hate the south so much you should be in support of us being a free nation. Break all ties

@UnionStatesHeritage According to your logic the United States are England. After all the English once controlled these lands. So, if the south is still OWNED by the UNION then the U.S. is still England. If the U.S. is sovereign, then so should be the Confederacy.

@AntiSouthernMovement Actually about the proof thing...I pieced most of this from your Yankee history books and Ken Burns. Many reasons why facts aren't clear is because the Confederacy did not record much. Perhaps the reason why this stuff is encoded is because of the Government wanting to cover up the destruction of half the country. We during the war did the exact same thing as we did during the American Revolution. The victors write history. These are merely facts to counter REAL propaganda.

@AntiSouthernMovement The proof of all the atrocities committed by the Northern army are in the library of congress if you care to actually do some research instead of blaming the rest of the world for your ignorance. Get the book "The South was Right" and read it. It has very easy references to the facts, even you would be able to find them.

I am a southerner but not a christian and i agree there are some people down here like that but not all southern people are like that. You talked about religion i agree first of all the actual scripts werent even in english they were torn apart given to different people to edit and then it was put together how it is now. I think you should take some time and get to know all people here. Just a suggestion.

Another thing--- your country obviously has nothing to do with the constitution, lol. That was ended. It's a Welfare-Warfare-Militarist-Statist-fascist (in the corporatist sense) tax collector thingy underwritten by trotskyite/gramsci-ite socialization (in your education, books, etc.) The civil war ended the constitution. Now the government owns about half the property or something. It's a "for profit" entity. That was not "constitutional," lol

You misunderstand the whole reality of the Southland. One can be an atheist and a southerner, or whatever. The southland is a cohesive people b/c of their shared experience, trajectory to the country, and a long basis of arts, mostly suppressed now, writers, way of life, much of which has been co-opted and even attributed to other peoples. LOL--catholics burned millions at the stake, many of whose families later wrote the constitution (thus freedom of religion in the constitution)

America is founded on a Judeo-Christian basis. And we don't take responsibility for our actions, i.e. the Civil War. So we don't take responsibility for stuff that WE didn't do. Kinda gotta think that no one is 150 years old and actually started the thing. And flying the confederate flag, that whole Bill of Rights you keep bringing kinda has that freedom of speech, so we have that right to do what we will.
