The troops deserve alot of respect for what they do, they defend us everday from terrorism and threats they put their lives on the line everday for us to live and i am thankful. They are great people
It's funny how we talk so much of propaganda in other countries while our media is essentially a cowardice propaganda itself; hiding behind the curtain of free enterprise. Makes me sick how so much of America's ignorant youth is brain washed by the predominately Liberal news and know nothing other than their untruthful, biased stories. It makes me cringe to think what our future political system will be like, and if our government will be run by people like Hillary Clinton... God help me.
For all the liberals I see barking about how terrible the U.S. is and how much bad we have done to the world, I don't see you leaving this country. Wink Why don't you strap on some boots, pick up a rifle, and hike on over to the Middle East. They think we can get together with Saddam, dance around a fire, and sing Kumbaya. When you've got a problem with someone and there's a gun in your closet, then use it.
It makes me proud to be an American and proud of our troops who do what many of us are afraid to do; however, it is sad to see that the U.S. has to essentially be a "world police" and still be shunned upon by so many while all we do is fight for what's right (I wish everyone had enough common sense to know what human morals are anyway).
Almost all we commenced or intervened for the good of our own people or for the good of others (except the Mexican-American war), and we have won almost all (except for the Vietnam War and our efforts in Africa).
We have fought with Britain (twice), ourselves, Mexico, Germany (twice), Italy, Austria-Hungary, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Cuba, almost had a holocaust with the former USSR, many operations in Central America and South America (I.E. Colombia), Bosnia, the incident with Iran, operations in east Africa (I.E. Somalia), Iraq (twice), and Afghanistan.
You know, I've never really thought upon the fact that the United States is the only country in history that has had more "wars" and conflicts with such a vast variety of nations than any other has in such a short time span (200 years), or for that matter, probably wars and conflicts period.
