The difference is that Craig can play James Bond in a way that Brosnan never could even if he wanted. I used to prefer Sean Connery, but after Casino Royal I'm supporting Daniel Craig 100% as the best Bond. Everyone decent actor can play a ladiesman, hold a gun and look good on a background full of explosions, but putting character, purity and feeling into James Bond is something huge - and only achieved by Craig so far.
