Yep, Thats about it minus the 18inch mounted on stands just off the 16inch and the picolo snare. I'm watching ebay for the 18 inch 1980s tama superstars
That's a Tama superstar?! If that's the case, I am most certainly getting one! I just watched another video of a superstar and it sounded horrible. Maybe it's your heads. What you got on them?
LOL Remember, All I used to record this with was a Cannon G3 Digital camera and a flash card. No editing or mikeing WHAT so ever. Just clowning around last Super Bowl Sunday.
I use Evans G2's on top AND Evans G1's on the bottoms. The Bass drum has Evans EQ 3's and the Snare has Aquarian coated power stroke with power dot underneath for the top head. And the standard remo bottom snare head. You should hear them threw a PA with 4 18's ALLOT OF THUMP. AND I DO NOT USE ANY KIND OF MUFFLING WHAT SO EVER ON THE TOMS. The bass drum has a blanket in it.
I dont think its a super star. The lugs dont the length of the drum.I have a superstar and they dont look like that.nor sound like taht. Nice sounding kit. Maybe a starr classic?
Thanks. It's hard to believe that they are 23 years old. I got them from a friend of the family that never really used them. I reskind them and topped off the cymbal rig. Rearranged them like Neil Pearts new arrangment, AND ALLS GOOD!!! Thanks again.
Now IF I could only play as half as good, I'll be happy.
No, really, I just like the way he can rearrange his set up and never loose his style. I just follow his lead. And I have to agree, it opens up for some really new approches to some old cover tunes that I been playing with various cover bands over the years. LOL
nice

Thats pretty much a Neil Peart look-a-like set of drums? Especielly with the Avedis and Wuhan cymbals? (Which was what he got before the Paragons)
