  • loved

  • i have tried this type of drawing but i cant get it that good. NICE work

  • You sir are very wrong.

  • Beautiful animation. So simple but yet so effect! It really draws the viewer in. I have tried this effect with my 'Talent' hand drawn animation.

  • billy collins is my homeboy

  • lol.... dead people, like us, are so narcissistic. go figure. ;-p

  • wow. this was very good!

  • lovely.

  • My dad was so much apart of me, many times I feel very empty now that he's gone. But every once in a while when I think about him up there, it helps. To think of him in a glass bottom boat looking down on me is very comforting.

  • This poem may be touching for those who believe their passed away are still close. But for those that don't share this feeling the poem may be analyzed as having a poor rhyme, a common place theme and a constant narrative without any dramatic unfolding.

Everyone to his or her own taste, but this poem is horrible.

  • Modern poetry often doesn't rhyme (though sound is important still, and there is often assonance and consonance). Dramatic narrative poetry is also, largely, a thing of the past.

  • and you're a little pretentious. beauty is beauty, art is art, it doesn't need a set and structure.

  • Art may be free of constraints (just as jazz seems to be, in comparison to classical music), but it is still more certain that there must be freedom for art criticism.

The democratic attack the art they don't like, while the fascists attack the ones who don't like the same art they do.

  • the democratic don't attack.

  • This is the democratic armed peace, or today they'll walk into your garden and pick a flower, tomorrow they'll call you a little pretentious, . . .

  • oh efex2007.

  • great.

    absolutely great.

  • Lovely - it reminds me, a bit, of a poem by the English poet, Gary Bills, called "If the Dead Know Everything About Us", - they are both stunning poems, and I really love the animation for the Billy Collins poem - minimalist and profound.

  • Hey Farliesbirthday (or should I say 'Gary'?) Self praise is no recommendation. You've been rumbled. Take it on the chin, mate.

  • One word. Awsome.

  • terrific! again.

  • wow.. m absorbed by it... all i can say to all his works, and videos... is WOW

  • A pleasure to view and hear! Thank you!

  • wow. thats great. when u comin out with more? i rly liek ur work.

  • i really want there to be more of these. soon.

  • I like the voice

  • not so much

  • This one is great, too!

  • the voice sucks tho..

  • The voice that "sucks" is the voice of the man who wrote the poem.

  • well then, his voice sucks

  • I agree. But I think he did a better job in this one then the last. Or maybe it is that his voice is a better fit for this poem than the last one.

  • wow. wow wow wow wow wow.

  • his voice reminds me of kevin spacey's in American Beauty....

    this poem is wonderful.

  • Agreed on both points.

    -N!kk!

  • this is so soothing

  • what a boring voice

  • like the animation. regards bluespower..

    what a noob

  • this poem was really nice.

  • really cool

  • creo que tu creatividad esta por lo alto siceramente te felicito. daniela

  • This is a really bad poem + I don't even think its a poem.

  • It is in fact a poem. This poem was written by the former US Poet Laureate. If you don't know what that means, it means that technically you are the most important contemporary poet in our country. Show some respect.

  • blow me. but this is bad, in the truest sense of the word.

  • FORMER US Poet Laureate? It is an honor that can be rescinded? and for what reason? Now I have to go Google all this. See what u started? :)P

  • Once a Poet Laureate, always a poet laureate. However, a new one is chosen every 2 years. Billy Collins was the choice for 2001-2003. Donald Hall is the current laureate.

  • owsome video! So depressing thoue!
