idk if your playing or arrangement really did it for me but i gotta say i was impressed by your sound and tone.. very nice man. what mics are you using to record?
@ 2:41 - 2:43 that were alot of hits on your snare,, dude i dont kno where That Darkspartan09 is talking about :S.. The only think that is dark is his view from his ears =S .. your so crazy.. you need to listen with your ears not your eyes .. XD
SWEET!! do you use a taye kit cuz i have a taye kit and i was wondering wether i should change the resonant side with the stock dynaton stock heads on the bottom to Evans G1s clear?? would it sound any different.....
I don't use taye but they're great drums. Unless you're doing some crazy recording and are an expert at tuning I'd just leave the stock heads on the resonant side. You'd have to be super picky to hear a difference
oh....would it be any different if i bought the Evans hydraulics glass on the batter side?? btw did u just leave your stock heads on the resonant side or you changed it with a new head....
yes i left the stock heads on the bottom except for the snare which has a snare side ambassador on the bottom. but for batter it depends what you play. i use g2s
OH.....you use g2s for toms?....i play rock/metal do you prefer me to buy evans hydraulics for my toms and when i buy them do i have to change the resonant side with the stock heads?....Thx
wtf...why did you pan the song to the left and your drums to the right...why didnt you just make it normal because your drums cut through the song anyways...
lol? cuz there's a wall there, it just worked out that way. and what'd you mean at the second part of your comment? hah is it a burn or am i reading it wrong
No...I'm saying why didn't you make the pan for Halo and your drum track centered, instead of making your drums all the way on the right because it doesn't agree with the eyes...
No...I'm talking about the AUDIO...you know how you made your drums come out only on the right side of a speaker/headphones? yeah...that's what I'm talking about...it makes no sense
Do you use a mixer/pre-amp or is that just an USB microphone? If you use a mixer then there's a knob that says "PAN" on it that you should center. If you use an USB microphone then it's probably the pan inside your recording program you use.
NICE MAN! Check out my cover of this :-)

Totally agree. Not the appropriate drums for this kind of music. Although he's very good and has a great technique.

Good style, your covers are always nice and tight :)
what hats do you use?
and your crash lets an otherwise mint sounding kit down, in my opinion anyway.
Good stuff though :)
JNaisbitt15 1 year ago
thanks alot!
I use Sabian AAX Fast Hats
lol thats funny that you mention it because i hate my crash. it sounds awful, but it is just a B8. definately time to be upgraded
