Thanks 4 posting this! I just got a G1 as a birthday gift yesterday! So this is useful! Can't wait to play it after work! Can ya give me some advice on how to get started? Never messed w/ pedals before. Only been playing for 7 months. So I'm sure it's out of my league. But still a blast messing w/ it!!! Any tips appreciated!

Masa gua beli, harga dia RM300, dgn 1 year warranty. Gua beli kat Woh Fatt KL. Skrg harga dia dah turun, gua nampak kat Sunway Pyramid RM290 jer. Okay gak menda ni. Simple but smart. I really recommend this to you. :)
RM300!!!?? Wah, in-par with BOSS DS-2 price. Erm, boleh ke dia run Distortion+Delay+Drumbeat Sekali? Ada programmable memory untuk rhythm recording tak?, maksud aku, aku main rhytm dalam 4 notes, dia boleh record dan loop-play tak macam Zoom version lama dulu...
Hehehe,.. Murah kan? :) Well, kalau bro pernah guna ZOOM 505 tu, lebih kurang mcm tu la dia punya function. But then again, mmg ada sikit kekurangan jugak. Kalau run drum machine tu, distortion tak lari. But the delay mood akan off. Mungkin pasal dia punya audio processing capacity. But gua selalunya guna function reverb dia untuk gantikan kekosongan tu. :)
Pasal programmable memory untuk recording tu, memang ZOOM G1 tak ada function tu. Dari segi functionality, dia takdelah sekuat ZOOM 707 tu. As I said earlier, ZOOM G1 ni lebih merupakan anak kepada ZOOM 505. Cuma dia ada drum machine, and ada amp emulation function. Compact, may be weaker in functionality, but then, it's worth your money. Masa gua beli mula2 dulu, gua pun risau gak kalau nanti gua x puas hati. But now, gua sendiri testify, this is good gadget! :)
can i loop with G1x ? or not?

Oh,.. I'm afraid that's not possible. Sadly, that's a limitation for the G1 ZOOM. :)
