if you pull up on the neck and push down on the guitar body it bends the note your playing like a whammy bar does, its not good for the guitar tho

slash commonly does this on his les paul guitars but pushing the neck foreward and holding the body he is bending the neck acting as a tremolo this is a less practical technique than using the whammy but it just looks cool and has a similar effect as a whammy with a minor dive
