I sorta get what he means...sorta. Dead Rising was good, my only complaint was the 'sea of undeads'; it's like you gotta mow through that huge number of undeads. If Dead Island had space to roam around more than zombies, maybe they could put the zombies in smaller groups seperated around places? I mean that would be reasonable instead of trying to shovel your way through a crowd of zombies that seem to be EVERYWHERE.

I hope this more like assassins creed than dead rising. Having a chance to encounter enemies, not always having to bash your way through meaningless npcs to get to a meaningless boss. There's a actual story, your not just there. You can go wherever you want. Some places will always have zombies there, but most want. That would be nice, too bad it's just a fantasy.

@TheyAreHere2 so far its what the creators call, "slasher/ RPG" there are 4 survivors you play as and some how team up to combat the world you are faced with. they have 3 different kind of zombies. normal slow zombies, fast l4d like zombies. and the suicied zombie which i think if you get to close he blows up.

it makes have to really look at the sitch and really plan your way around it to survive. and hardly any guns it is what you find in everyday life that can save you. hope this helps.

@TheyAreHere2 I agree with you on some parts. What people have to try and remember is that Dead Rising was something more like a comedy game. Sure it had serious moments and a story but most of it all was finding outrageous ways to kill zombies.

On the other hand Dead Island is a more realistic zombie game. As in showing the true horrors of what would happen if an actual zombie outbreak occured in real life of course. And I commend it for that.

The guns found in this game only have a little bit of ammo, which to me is a good thing. Instead of feeling like a one man army, you are going to have to make good use of the ammo you have then its back to whacking zombies with anything else you can get your hands on. Can't wait!
