It's a little sad she missed her line for "its me", but her performance was AMAZING,even whilst sick.

Why didnt this woman ever originate a role?

I assume it was because she was too "pop/soul princess", rather than sounding "musical theatre-ish", but thats just me.

This is my friends recording (I was there in the orchestra, this is from the mezzanine) .... as per the video description, she wasn't late for her cue- she had a problem with the lift. When the lights shone on her for the "It's not her..." part, she was still trying to get into the lift, hence the delay.

Wow, her "meeee" last 5 seconds, as long as Kerry Ellis! :D Only the audience didn't cheer for Sho... but then again, Kerry's sounded longer because her note was more consistant and Sho's didn't sound quite like that... but SHO BEAN ROCKS! One of the best Elphies EVER, she is completely awesome. :D

Wow, I'm really surprised not only at how well she sang - really one of her best! But I'm also surprised at how the orchestra didn't extend the time for her to hit her cue, they just kept going. But it's kind of cool to not hear the long it's me! Holy crap shes amazing though!

I don't know if there's really anyway for the conductor to have them vamp more... Some of them are looking at the sheet music, some at the conductor... It'd be kinda hard to do..

That's different, Carmen was consistently late, they started practicing vamping until she was ready. Shoshana was almost always on her cue.

@btardwannabe Most of the orchestra knows the music already, and professionally they should be looking at the conductor. Especially if it says "vamp". Sometimes they do vamp a little longer.
