  • Wow. We are planning it next month! Im not the bestest fastest uphill walker though, so having 2nd thoughts! Looks like one heck of a climb!!

  • You'll manage it no problem, its not as hard as it looks so long as you take it easy and you can always avoid Lords Rake by going round.

  • congrats on the climb, as it looks like quite an arduous journey in places. i noticed what looked like stone ruins near the summit/plateau. do any of you happen to know the history of this? cheers....

  • inferno is right, 10 hours is about right for the walk - sorry couldn't reply myself but just retyurned from Scotland. (ps - not too much rain up there over the last 2 weeks!)

  • Allow plenty of time. Did the route but missed out a bit of it near the end but still took several hours. Probably nearer 10 hours for the full monty route as described on their website. Make sure you have good shoes too. Sooooo many stones/rocks to walk over!

  • Hello, me and my friends are planning on following this route next week and I was wondering if you have any tips for us ? I also hope the weather is as clear as it was then. Doubtful though due to the unbelievable amount of excessive rain we've been having lately.
