@paulvideo05 I'm sure they approved the drill site right? I've seen activity off and on at that drill site by the retirement center. I've seen the cows during fracking go to the fenceline to get away from the plumes. I've called and have written to the retirement cntr but pleas for residents safety have fallen on dear money hungry ears. Our city, TCEQ and RRC are all bought and paid for by the oil and gas mafia. "Don't mess with Tex-gas!"

Chesapeake is partnering with China to drill in south TX and we are looking to export our natural gas (glut) to tother countries.. that is detrimental to national security! Pro-drillers say that NG is cleaner than coal-ONLY AT COMBUSTION...it is on par or even dirtier than coal when you factor in the extraction, leakage and transportation (Cornell University Horwarth study). The recent deal of Chesapeake Energy partnering with China to extract oil & gas from the Eagle ford Shale proves how desperate Chesapeake needs money! The market is flooded with drillers in 34 states. This deal will have a dire effect on the Carrizo aquifer in ramping up natural gas production. The rig count will go from 11 to 30 and each well takes 3-5 million gallons of water during the hydraulic fracturing process which puts acquifers at risk for contamination.

A day before the City Council's final vote, the white lady rapper visited 30 families that will be living the closest to the Truman well by the Cowboy Stadium. The apartment renters at 808 E Sanford street and the trailer park tenants at 415 N East street had no idea the well was being voted on. It was easy to explain... she told them “the people who own the land get the money and you who rent from them get the risk”. All renters contacted opposed and signed the petition.

Today I asked for FREE VOC blood testing for UTArlington students and for other children that go to school or live by gas drilling activities. weirdharold82 removed this post......"We have had gas well within 300-500 feet of our house for the last 6 years with no problems in Fort Worth. She is a nut no matter what anyone thinks. She needs to turn off the electricity in her house also if she does not like gas because it more than likely generated with it also. Tree huggers can't live by what the preach!"

Gas drilling is a serious issue in Arlington, Texas. The danger is having gas wells within residential areas, only 300 feet from homes. Granted the woman in the video used a different approach but what she had to say was correct.
