Takes gung fu, double broadsword, karate, kendo and some aikidoThe very idea of a Japanese studying a purely Chinese martial art is amazing, considering the history of Japan's attempts to sanitize their culture from outside influences. Especially karate, which took root in two other countries outside of Japan. In his intervies Shin has said it's his goal to promote unity between the arts regardless of racial, gender or culture lines. Awesome stuff.
