@HedgehogStudios1 I have an old National Geographic - late 50's were a guy went into the desert after tests and collected the glass formed (obsidian). He was annoyed as they had started to fence off the areas and back full the test sites so he couldn't get any more !
@Got5on It also saved over 1.5 million Allied casualties and over 10 million Japanese casualties by avoiding Operation Downfall, the planned invasion of mainland Japan. Those were conservative estimates assuming best case scenarios. Now, when Japan surrendered after the bombings America was moving thousands of troops into staging grounds and Japan was ready and waiting at the planned landing points. It would have been wholesale slaughter the likes not seen since the Battle of the Somme.
Nuclear chemistry goes so far over my head I feel like a real dumb-ass has that I can't grasp it. All I know is that we (had to ) put the major smack-down on a bunch of Japs.
wake up my friend.. pearl habour was a false flaq operation just like 9-11.. to brainwash the people of the country, to accept and jump into war, so the people behind can make huge money !
@mcmbmathias Did we or didn't we not drop two bombs on Japan? I think you replied to the wrong person's comments because yours has nothing to do with mine but thanks for the insight anyway.
