Increases the pads' rebound & ability to read fast notes. If you try fast notes on the unmodded stock kit, it will drop a lot of them. Upholstery does the same job as the sock-mod.

I do 97-98% on that song i just have hard time with the little doubles in the chorus.. noods do it with one hand but i really dislike that it aint like the drummer does it in real life.. other than that, the rolls are fast but the stock drum doesnt drop notes at all, you just have to be precise

You must have a good stock kit. I'm on a sock-modded RB1 kit and it'll drop 1 in 50ish on a reasonable speed roll. Impressive 5 months reply, by the way :P

I guess I'm just saying that because I suck on rockband's drums my 13 year old brother can play and justice for all on expert drums although he can't FC it (probably the drums, maybe him) his highest score is over 200k and he got 5 stars on it

Actually, it's all in the wrists with drummers, it should only be about 5% arms and the rest wrist.

Wrists are where you get rebound, speed and accuracy from.

Some drummers on real kits use more arms because of there playing style and you can get away with it from that because of the rebound but with RB kits it's all got to be wrist.
