  • THANK YOU! Tight psoas is contributing to my scoliosis - this stretch is going to help me tremendously!

  • tight hip flexors is one of the causes for ant pelvic tilt.

  • Now sales for that cane will fly thru the roof! LOL. Shit looks painful to me. I'll just foam roll that lil' bitch out.

  • haah nice

  • Stretching the psoas is part of eliminating low back pain. However, pelvic instability and improper pelvic tilt (anterior) is the usually the root cause of tight hip flexors. You can stretch everyday for eternity, but if your pelvic tilt isn't correct, you will NEVER have loose hip flexors. I have yet to meet a client with a stable pelvis on day one of training.

  • Why don't you just shut up and let Joe do the talking, you prat?

  • How would one correct the tilt? Can only phsycal therapy do that?

  • oh thanks joe

  • Great video.

Do you have any information on stretching the Piriformis?

  • your gym looks different... WAIT... big joe D has a life outside the gym? :O

    good stuff, thanks!

  • Joe what else can you use besides a thera cane

  • joe why is your leg moving medially as the leg lenghtens?and do you have a picture or website to show psoas muscle.thanks

  • Moving the leg medially towards the end of the movement increases the stretch drastically.
