  • your cool man ,i think everybody needs to grow one plant from seed and it will change your life lol serious

  • @headlightguy Most def.

  • you look so sexy in some of your videos, I see them all and I love the ones shirtless and barefooted, original!, where u from?

  • @habibemaktub Thanks. I'm from Brooklyn.

  • @CanarsieBK Im in Puerto Rico, come down someday....

  • IM hungry for a nice salad now.

  • @Allen2045 Haha. Inspiration.

  • Maybe you should consider clay pots, I am a container gardener and have found no containers finer than clap pots.

They breath this way, I tried the self watering pots liek you did but my results were less than fantastic.

If I use a clay pot and let the vegetable dry between waterings they excell.

I have also grown a tomato plant in a pot this year with a timmer that trickles water 1 min per hour constantly adn it is rolling all over the yard.

Maybe you should attempt using timers.

  • @mhguy77 If I had a larger gardening space, I'd consider the irrigation system. It doesn't make sense for the balcony. Also these containers are free and cheap. The clay pots would definitely work, but would be an extra expense and resources used.

  • ok, now let's see you grow zucchini, squash, strawberries, etc in those buckets!!! BIG plants! ;) -Randy

  • @GettingThereGreen Check my latest video about my balcony garden. Just transplanted some a tomato plant and started cukes in two containers. Want to start some corn too. I'm getting crazy.

  • @CanarsieBK What happened with that friend's place you were going to convert the overgrown yard into a garden??? News on that?

  • @GettingThereGreen Haven't been able to get out there yet again. My transportation in LA is limited.

  • lol BTW... what do your neighbors think of you sitting out on the balcony talking to your camera? It's funny to think of them sitting on the other side of the door watching the filming through the peep hole.... funny and creepy... very creepy. lol

  • @PCOStherealdeal Hahahahaha. So true.

  • Right on! I can't stress enough to my friends and family the benefits of growing your own food. In these tough economic times it de stress me to know that at the end of the day I may be broke and we may just be barely making it but I still have fresh produce to eat, a garden to enjoy, and I feel better about feeding my step son healthy food that he and I grew together. The pride and joy you get from growing your own food and knowing that you are doing your part to help the earth is so powerful!

  • keep doing what you do and spreading the word. Your videos are a great learning tool for others and fun to follow along. (P.S. hows your friends back yard project coming along?)

  • @PCOStherealdeal Thanks. Haven't done much with the backyard yet. My transportation here in LA is limited at the current moment.

  • @PCOStherealdeal Amen. It makes a huge difference.

  • it would be satisfying to grow it yourself

  • @ByeByeBelly Most definitely is. You growing your own?

  • nice man! Can't wait to have this experience for myself!

  • @Xelmo187X When's it gonna happen?

  • @Xelmo187X Nice!

  • Didn't it tasted good!!!! ?

  • @jihadacadien Damned good.

  • @CanarsieBK I bet it was!

  • nice!

  • @pabyizzy Very nice.

  • Buen provecho!

  • @jujutubes I'm guessing that's a good thing. So thanks!
