They state has many county sheriffs department and plenty of state police. Schenectady has no more or less crime than any other city in NY state. Something more is going on. I worked in that area for a number of years and in the last 10 things had actually improved in the city (except the police corruption) There should be serious concern over this. This city is central to the 3 major highways in NY STATE 90,87,88 making it easy to control these major routes.

Many drugs are brought up to Albany, Schenectady area from NYC. NYC is about a 3 hour drive from this area. Still Martial law does not make sense.
