Now I can compare C64 and Amiga Versions. C64 had better music and sounds. The graphics on Amiga look better but are too sterile. The Amiga version has lighter and the C64 darker ambiance. The main difference in gameplay is jumping between platforms. Both games are great but one thing is for sure... C64 had better music.
Seeing this abomination makes me cwy :'( :@ In the C64 version it's far more challenging, ghosts/dragons follow you in the y axis as well as the x, and you can actually SEE where the enemies are as they aren't melded into the background! Yes the graphics look swish, but it detracts so much from the game!
i actually figured it out a few minutes after posting this comment(the four X axises and one Y axis in the config just threw me off for a while) cheers anyway!
its actually a neat little emulator. still tho i gotta say the C64 Flimbo kicks the Amiga arse!!! and as for the Amstrad version... lets not go there! tho the amstrad emulator is cool too! some deadly games on it
I used to play this game on my amiga, and I must say, this game inspired me to se that the greatest gift in life is to be humle towards the mystery of nature!we never had a big house or a fansy car,but this game is still with me in my heart, and sometimes,as I watch the weather change,i can still hear that beautyfull music, and I think to myself, what ever happens on my quest, nothing really matters, other than to be strong and fight for the one you love!choose to trust the Flimbo within! ;)
C64 levels looked better, not the cardboard cut outs the Amiga uses.

Absolutely adore this game, still remembered the music to this day.
Love the noise that fat purple dragon on level 1 makes.

it does, so it doesn't matter which version you have they are all the same, so have you stopped the longplays or are you planning more?

The menu music nearly has a reggae/caribbean style to it with the rhythm and instruments. It's pretty cool.

Hey, your skill ain't bad :) . I used to finish the C64 version in under 10 mins. I might do a video if some people wanna see it :).
I liked level 4, it seemed more dangerous than the one in the C64 version.

Why do you have to get those bags in that order?
Smokestorm 3 years ago
If you look closely you can see that there is always one bag that is slightly highlighted. He gets extra points for collecting them in order.
RJLeffmann 3 years ago
One of the bags is always highlighted, that one give 20$. The other ones only give 5$. On the c64 this was the same just with red & green coins.
