  • C64 levels looked better, not the cardboard cut outs the Amiga uses.

  • 36:32

I called this green guy terminator :D

  • This game used to give me nightmares

  • 46:26 is my favorite song!!! :)

  • Absolutely adore this game, still remembered the music to this day.

Love the noise that fat purple dragon on level 1 makes.

  • it does, so it doesn't matter which version you have they are all the same, so have you stopped the longplays or are you planning more?

  • The c64 version was better. The music too.

  • WHAT A BLAST FROM THE PAST... AMAZING!!! THANKS FOR UPLOAD IT HAS BROUGHT BACK SO MANY MEMORIES!!

  • Nothing much to this one. Thanks for posting anyway man.

  • does'nt seem to have the charm of the c64 version

  • Reyn's music kicks ass.

  • this is so good, they should make a film xD haha

  • Very nice video ;)

I remember this game around Commodore 64! ;)

  • :D i was rolling on ground when flimbo died with that "whooo-who-who-who" sound :') priceless

  • @Ph3n0m3n4 DAMMIT! he didn't die! I watched through the whole thing just to hear the "whooo-who-who-who" sound. >:(

  • This track is awsome

  • Now I can compare C64 and Amiga Versions. C64 had better music and sounds. The graphics on Amiga look better but are too sterile. The Amiga version has lighter and the C64 darker ambiance. The main difference in gameplay is jumping between platforms. Both games are great but one thing is for sure... C64 had better music.

  • Nice game!! Last levels are very difficult...

  • I didnt like the fast guys, or the birds, but i feared that big dragon the most!

  • great upload btw!!

    5 stars

  • wish i could play it now !!! wish i had an emulator

  • You can, check our channel FAQ :)

  • @marty0398

UAE is an good amiga emulator. works for me

the C64 version is definitely the best version of Flimbo tho

  • Yes i have to agree even thou the amiga had better graphics, music, the C64 version was just better some how!

  • @marty0398 WinUAE at [dot]winuae[dot]net[slash]frames[slash]download[dot]html

  • @marty0398 why don't you learn how to use an amiga emu ?

  • @marty0398 how gay is that version? c64!! :)

  • The menu music nearly has a reggae/caribbean style to it with the rhythm and instruments. It's pretty cool.

  • She has to be the ugliest girl ever saved in a video game. I'd have left her with the scientist.

  • C64 version is easier than Amiga version

  • 3 times to level 7 my own record

  • awesome upload!

now i can compare the amiga music with the c64 version i played almost 20 years ago :-)

  • for some reason I like the c64 music better.

  • im sure we all must do

  • I had forgot how much I loved that final tune! Thanx for bringing back the memories :)

  • OMG...i have played this...a game i completely forgot about!

  • Love the music in this game. reminds me of hapy days even though it is the different version to c64

  • the music in this is ace but I prefer the music on the c64 more classic

  • Isn't Franzs D the lead singer in Scooter?

  • No. Thats Baxxter Scooter.

  • You missed the joke but thank you for replying.

  • Lol whoops, I thought it was a serious question :-))

    Apologies!!

  • It's interesting tos see the changes between the C64 adn Amiga versions.

    Thanks for sharing this.

  • Lemm have big talent for Amiga games ;]

  • Hey, your skill ain't bad :) . I used to finish the C64 version in under 10 mins. I might do a video if some people wanna see it :).

I liked level 4, it seemed more dangerous than the one in the C64 version.

  • Seeing this abomination makes me cwy :'( :@ In the C64 version it's far more challenging, ghosts/dragons follow you in the y axis as well as the x, and you can actually SEE where the enemies are as they aren't melded into the background! Yes the graphics look swish, but it detracts so much from the game!

  • solo una parola: COMPLIMENTI!!!!

  • ill take it this is played on WinUAE...if so ive got a Q!!

ive finally figured out how to get WinUAE playing Flimbo, now ive only one problem...

i can do everything EXCEPT jump up and down in the controls!! got a USB joystick and everything works(L/R/Fire)

everything except UP and DOWN. if anyone knows how to set it up i would greatly appreciate it!! cheers!

  • You need to configure it in the options :)

  • cheers!

i actually figured it out a few minutes after posting this comment(the four X axises and one Y axis in the config just threw me off for a while) cheers anyway!

its actually a neat little emulator. still tho i gotta say the C64 Flimbo kicks the Amiga arse!!! and as for the Amstrad version... lets not go there! tho the amstrad emulator is cool too! some deadly games on it

  • Liked this game...

  • aroundthewind, Beautifully expressed, thump up :)

  • I used to play this game on my amiga, and I must say, this game inspired me to se that the greatest gift in life is to be humle towards the mystery of nature!we never had a big house or a fansy car,but this game is still with me in my heart, and sometimes,as I watch the weather change,i can still hear that beautyfull music, and I think to myself, what ever happens on my quest, nothing really matters, other than to be strong and fight for the one you love!choose to trust the Flimbo within! ;)

  • Wow, aroundthewind, that's a nice expression! Thumb up!

  • 100% Win

  • Why do you have to get those bags in that order?

  • If you look closely you can see that there is always one bag that is slightly highlighted. He gets extra points for collecting them in order.

  • One of the bags is always highlighted, that one give 20$. The other ones only give 5$. On the c64 this was the same just with red & green coins.

  • Love the music for some reason

  • A very addictive game!
