i did it like 2 times and it doesn't boot up all the way it just shows the apple logo for about 2 seconds and just goes off.

im not sure if you can install the os using retail disks but go for osx86 dvds instead

you made a big mistake

1) u need a patched osx leopard (OSX86) disk. u cant install it with a regular 1

2) u need a formatter on your computer that can recognize the disk at startup, like PearPC or iDeneb

he can install it with the retail dvd only if he uses the boot 132 leopard cd, and he can use the disk utility in Mac OS X Leopard to formatt and partition drives, and he can use the windows vista cd to repair the windows vista partition/drive to be able to boot to windows vista, and rebuild the bootrec file bootmgr.

did you lose your wifi or sound or anything, if so how did you get it back? Also if i do this and i don't like it or i lose wifi or what ever can i restore it to factory settings and use the recovery discs? Did this harm you computer at all?

i dont know if you Toshiba support 10.5.2, try Tiger version first., if run perfect use 10.5.5 or 6

They developed it, they made it as good as it tis, and they have the right to say what hardware it can be placed on. hi i own the toshiba satellite a105 s4074 and it runs on intel and for instruction saids sse,sse2 sse3. i created a partition and inserted the Kalyway.DVD. during installation it saids " installer could not create folder /volume/ (name of my hdd)/base system.pkg.135zslec3 so did you encounter the same problem before??

I can tell it has QE/CI enabled since the menubar is transparent, and he can select different resolutions. Dead giveaways to no QE/CI are when those things aren't available.
