some people in my school found my youtube channel, and they at first started making fun of me, but when they saw that i was good, they wanted to see a few tricks, i showed them, and now they just accept that im a magician, but the first years who are like 12 years old, are so cocky, and go- "hey show us a trick faggot", sum peole are pricks when it comes to magic trying to get the better of you, others are cool with it and just want to be entertained.
Not nearly half as often, I became so good at magic that it was the only thing I was known for, my identity was "Magic Man/Kid/Boy" and I didn't want that, I wanted people to know my real name... ya know?
I'd go out to eat lunch with my girlfriend and people would recognize me, expect that I had a pack of cards and ask me to do tricks for them when I just want to enjoy a meal with my lady.
And if you don't give the people what they want they become really pissed off at you... it's gay.
lol, at school I'm known as the magic man, it's true people expect me to have cards\money for tricks and I'm always bugged, but there is an upside for me: they pay to see my magic because I almost never show them unless they pay(this is just at school with friends tho)
when I visit people like family I'm also expected to show atleast 2-5 tricks, it's fun, some people like you get bothered by it, but I kinda like it
I totally agree. I did stigmata at school one day and after that the scumbags never left me alone. I hated it because they harassed me about it all the time. Shit, when I performed for them it wasn't like they were paying or anything.

Good point. The term is often applied to liberally IMO.
