Well that was a surprise! Quite a convincing set up in all.Though not an exact replica of the trailer it's certainly close enough.I was very impressed with the blasts, that was very well done, not you usual re-enactment explosion!! I bet the crowd was impressed!! Only thing is for the next show you will have to build another rocket!! Well done and keep up the good work!!
Good video not sure where stratosjoe is coming from if you don't like don't watch.
That being said after watching these things take off as soon as it started to launch it would be away and go hitting whatever target was programmed too! It would not go that slow
I think it was pretty decent. Having an airshow right next door, every year, is exciting. But, don't see this everytime. We do get the Blue Angels, quite a lot. Where was this show held? I would like to maybe go there someday to see it.
Bravo! Spot on presentation. I grew up around aviation. There is nothing which is more thrilling to me than the sight AND sounds of those fighter aircraft. Jet aircraft are astounding in their own right but the era of prop driven airplanes from WW I through early Korean Conflict simply stir my soul like nothing else can. Kudos on you re-enactment. As far as dramatic content is concerned, it didn't appear to have too much of that going on. They made war look almost enjoyable, lacked intensity .
@stratosjoebar Lame it may be, but when did you last go to an airshow and see a full size V-2 rocket with a real (rudimentary) rocket engine? Give the guys who built this thing some credit for a cool job well done.
@stratosjoebar Yes, you can make any comment you please. But please remember that if you post something, that someone else doesn't like, you need to be able to deal with it. If you can't, you shouldn't post.
@stratosjoebar I was there on the ground. While im sick of the fighting on the flat pan rugby field sort of thing, that explosion was AWESOME, could feel the heat.
when that rocket hit the ground in London they were going at over 2000 miles per hours. It must have been a terrifying experience.

I loved it! Very good job on the V-2 replica. Not perfect, but it must have taken months to prepare. A4V2 Resource Site.

@stratosjoebar usually comments like yours are made by jealous people who lack the sheer talent needed to pull off something like a full sized V-2.
