Travel to a big city like Philly and find REAL Italian cuisine.

Carrabba's is the closest thing you'll find to that in a chain Italian restaurant. They make nearly everything, including the meatballs and salad dressing at the restaurant. I know a cook who worked at Olive Garden and he told me that most of their food is prepackaged then reheated. Same goes for Red Lobster. You can like OG all you want. I'm just stating facts.

I'm sure there is at least one non-chain Italian restaurant/sit-in pizzeria with Italian entrees around your way that makes quality food. If you live near a big city it's also rewarding to scope the city out and see what types of cuisine it offers. You will find the most amazing restaurants you didn't even know existed.
