  • @keyna7, I am surprised, though, that more covers haven't been attempted on their songs. I can see how some would not like the vocals, but Pampered Menial is a classic bit of music that transcends the ages. Beautiful piece of work, and if they didn't make much money, I hope they get older knowing the beauty of their musicianship.

  • still sounds great in 2012 ,,their best album ,,

  • thumbs up if your a NOVEMBER baby <3

  • Still reckon this is one of rock's finest albums. Intelligent and melodic songwriting, superior musicianship and arrangements and Surkamp's soaring vocals. And moving, on a very human level.

  • i like this video

  • Κομματάρα

  • Songs like this one will never be written again...respect....and ty uploader...

  • Unfortunately the dude from RUSH with his high falsetto beat Sirkamp to the punch. As great a band as these guys were, they're just wasn't room for both.

  • Wonderful!

  • breathless , just like lightning....

  • Now I know what Geddy Lee was listening to in the early 70's.

  • @surfmcgoogler Your absolutely right....I wonder if they know each other...

  • @surfmcgoogler This album was out in 1975. Rush's debut album came out in 1974.

Geddy Lee was listening to other bands in the early 70's. Bands that started in the mid-late 60's like Cream, The Who.

  • Brings tears to my eyes ,,,what we thought and what we became ,,,still feel the heartbrakeeeeeeeee

  • How about somebody posting another amazing song from this great band {.MERCY] Ive been a Pavlov's Dog fan since the 70s too bad they were not appreciated more I'm sure there would have been more beautiful music available from them,

  • the voice that god listens to

  • Yes, what a gorgeously emotive voice, wow.

  • @AndreasVar Correct you are. Musicians should make their own 'sound'. Most remakes are awful. And the lead singer can make or break a band. I like Pavlov's Dog because of the unique voice but cannot handle The Talking Heads because David Byrne's voice. Personal choice for whatever reason. Long live the groups who have timeless music but never made it. It is fun to dig through the archives of youtube and rediscover these lost treasures. Like finding a lost Spanish Galleon - though easier.

  • My Father gave me the album. All of my friends had no idea who they were. Just Awsome.

  • One of the best prog tracks ever!

  • Being a concert promoter,I had the privilege of bringing this band from their native St. Louis to Chicago back in 1975...They were so under rated and under exposed and I truly thought they were destined for greatness but it wasn't to be...but the music lives on...

  • ISTO É BRUTAL!!! O MEU PAI MOSTROU-MA E EU ADOREI!!!!!

  • This guy's voice is astounding

  • you can never replace this voice....!!!

  • @zakaria9226 je suis tout a fait d'accord !!! suis super fan aussi !!!

  • great band.amazing voice!!!

  • AndreasVar, some creative forms are too good to be abandonned in the past. More people deserve to hear this music and they won't neccessarily respond to it unless a modern beat is applied. A modern rework would be a respectful act of homage.

  • @keyna7

No no, they should appreciate the original. It's like Nights in white satin. You can make as much remakes as you want to, it'll never be like the original ;) It's a hommage (Don't know if that's an English word) to the artist's talent and creativity to listen the original. :D

  • @keyna7 Those who appreciate this kind of music wil strive to enlighten people about it, without the necessity of a remake. Those who appreciate it upon hearing it will pass it on to others.

  • Don't you think someone should cover this song, and Julia, and make them into contemporary hits -or is it the incomparable vocal that makes this magnificient.

  • very cool

i hope all of you enjoyed this music

    it's very dramatic

  • AThens 1984!

  • Great album great song please upload all the songs and let me know if u do ,,,when music was real ,,and written

  • quality

  • Yes... Geddy Lee...Rush!! Very similar...

And, for the newcomers on Pavlov's discovery, "she" is called David Surkamp :))

  • Geddy Lee anyone? Fantastic!

  • She? Last time I checked it was a he.

  • @DenEimaiMikrh

yes, so do i (is He)

  • What a fascinating song! When she says "Novembeeer" she resembles to Peter Murphy from Bauhaus.

  • Great song!!!!!!!
